Four decades after serving as a combat soldier in Vietman, Ed Pilkington, President of Willow Bend Academy in Plano and Lewisville, Texas is with a different mission. During the war his weapons were an M-16 rifle, M-79 grenade launcher and a 50-caliber machine gun. Today, his weapons are medications, crutches, wheelchairs, eye glasses and a directive from God to help heal a country still suffering from the effects of a war fought over a quarter-century ago. As a member of a humanitarian medical mission of Vets With A Mission, Mr. Pilkington is returning to Thua Thien Province -the EXACT location where he served in 1968-1969.
