The allure of modern science was the catalyst that set me on my path to study biology as I wanted to understand how living systems worked in nature, essentially, to study the science of life and living organisms. Dedication and perseverance defined my journey and I became an award winning research scientist with expertise in Synthetic Biology, Genome Editing Tools (CRISPR-Cas & TALENs), and Neurodegenerative Diseases.
