1. WALK for AUTISM INDONESIA 2011

celebrating the World Autism Awareness Day
Held in 17 cities around Indonesia:
Medan, Pekanbaru, Bogor, Bandung, Serang,
Semarang, Solo, Yogyakarta, Sidoarjo, Surabaya,
Denpasar, Pontianak, Samarinda, Bontang, Makassar,
Menado and JAKARTA !
2. JAKARTA
• The walk was held in the center of the city, which
covers circa 4km.
• Wives of ministers joined the walk, with 3000
community members, including ± 500 persons with
autism (PwA)
• After the walk, PwA (and their families as well as
community members) collaborated to complete a
1000-piece giant puzzle, with the size of 1,5m x 60m.
• The walk was covered by nation-wide TV stations ,
radio stations, newspapers and magazines.
3. JAKARTA
