Women Empowerment is the progression of women
and, accepting and including them in the decision-
making process. It also means providing them with
equal opportunities for growth and development in
society, and disapproving gender bias.
3. Why Women Empowerment?
According to Mahatma Gandhi,
“If you educate a man you educate an individual,
but if you educate a woman you educate an entire
family.”
4. Article 15(3)
Article 15 secures the citizens from every sort of
discrimination by the State, on the grounds of
religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth or any of
them.
Article 15(3) Nothing in this article shall prevent the
State from making any special provision for women
and children
