 Nowadays, most people would say that
computers are very important in education and
for discovering new things. However, in the past,
many scientists discovered a lot of things without
computers or other devices. A lot of doctors and
architects do the same work as before, but now
with the new apparatuses (machines) they have.
Do you think that, without using computers, we
can discover the world
more?

 When & while can be use to show a long
action that is interrupted by a short
action.
 When I was eating my dinner, Ruth called me.
 While I was eating my dinner, Ruth called me.
 Ruth called my when/while I was eating my

When Only
When (not while) can be used for
one action that happens
immediately after another. (boom
boom)
 When I got home from class, I took a nap.
 I took a nap when I got home from class.
 When I called my friend, she told me she
couldn’t talk.

 When (not while) can be used for a short
action that happened during a longer
action.
