What can you do at the library?
• Check out materials.
• Do research
• Read!
When can you visit the library?
• With a class
• During Flex
• Before and after school
• Library hours: 7:15- 3:00
Checking out Materials
• 3 books at a time
• Overnight materials- Check out after 6th
period, back before 1st
period the next day.
• All other materials- 10 school days.
• MUST HAVE THE BOOK WITH YOU TO RENEW.
If your book is late…
• Fines:
–Regular books- $.10 per day excluding
weekends, holidays, and illness
–Overnight materials- $.25 per day.
If your book is lost
• You will be fined the replacement cost.
• If found, you will be refunded money, minus
$2.00 fine.
• Minimum charge for lost book- $11.00
• SCHOOL POLICY IS THAT IF A BOOK, ETC. IS
NOT IN THE LIBRARY AND IS CHECKED OUT TO
YOU, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT BOOK.
When you visit the library with your class…
• You MUST bring your library folder!
• Look at the whiteboard for instructions and
take handouts.
• Keep needed materials at your table.
• Place all other items on the shelf
• Be on time
• Bathroom- Privilege passes
• All points given or lost will apply to your grade
in the class for which you are doing the
project.

• 40 passes per flex
• Distributed ONLY by the staff
• Students must stay in the library for the entire flex

• Students must stay in the library for the entire flex
Book Exchange Pass
• "Revolving Door" pass
• One per classroom
• Used to return books and check out new ones
• 10 minutes!
