24. Mold can come in many different colors and may spread quickly when not taken care of promptly and properly. Bathrooms that have a shower in them should be properly ventilated to help prevent mold issues.

26. Remove as much excess water as possible by mopping or blotting
27. Wipe excess water from wood furnishings after removing the contents from surfaces
28. Be aware of electrical hazards. DO NOT attempt to vacuum water up with a standard vacuum
29. Pad or block underneath wood furniture to prevent permanent staining of carpets
30. Carefully remove colored items in the affected areas, especially if they are on carpet or upholstery
