- My father’s health was not good he was hospitalized as he is a patient of stomach related decease
- I was looking for a career change as well.The industry in which I was broking industry so wanted to change the field

- Because I wanted to change the field i.e. from broking /sales to finance or research industry

During last year I felt that I am not getting growth opportunities started preparing for interviews but when you realize that
it is very difficult to get a job without prepration.
But due to long working hours 10 -11 hours ,I could not prepare & I already have been there for more then 2 years already
Communication is the key when you are talking in an interview try to take time & communicate in a proper manner.
Clearity of thought is of utmost importance .It is most important to explain sth in much better way than just explaining for
name sake only
Tell any thing in lay man’s language
Give examples but explain in a layman’s language
Try to express by your knowledge ,not by anything else
Do not argue or if asked about apples talk about apples not grapes

Case 1 ;-During my college time,I was given a case study
The topic was to analyse the data & tell to which market segment I should target being the manager of the company.Based
on my analytical skills,I found that business has been targeting wrond areas /market
All along I was able to show that market should be targeting which segment /aea /market
Example;- There were 50 lacs Males & 40 lacs female ,
It was already there in women clothing & it wants to increase its revenue in % terms ,So it want to target new business
segment ,i suggested that it should be targeting men’s clothing as it has good network in small cities as well.
I compared men’s clothing to children ‘s clothing & found Men’s clothing is better idea as the company needs to have
limited range of products as it would be cost efficient as well.

There are 7 balls in which 6 balls are of same colour same size same weight is lighter in weight choose that one
(Interpretation ;- Firstly divide them in the group of two each side - - weigh them one by one compare two by the other
two while weighing them one should be checking a couple should be of equal weight ,if it is unequal its easy to find the
heavier couple would be checked again - & with another for comparision - - there surly you would find the answer
for the heavier ball)

10. If you donot know the correct answer,just say sorry & politely requiest the interviewer to give some other
question.

moment’.

Introduction about yourself
When you arrive at the interview site introduce yourself to the receptionist by stating your name and the purpose of your
visit. For example: "My name is Tim Jones and I have an interview scheduled with John Smith at 2 pm."
You will either be escorted to the interview room or the hiring manager will come out to meet you in the reception area.
Again, take the time to introduce yourself so the interviewer knows who you are.
Offer to shake hands, even if the interviewer doesn't offer their hand first. It's good etiquette to include a handshake as
part of your introduction. Tell the interviewer that it is a pleasure to meet them, smile and be sure to make eye contact. For
example: "I'm Tina Lionel, it's a pleasure to meet you."
During the Interview
Many hiring managers will start an interview with an open-ended question like "Tell me about yourself." The core of your
response should focus on the key elements in your background which will enable you to excel in the job for which you are
interviewing. You should carefully analyze the job prior to the interview so you can point out the interests, skills,
experiences and personal qualities which will enable you to meet or exceed the requirements.
Keep it Short
Your introduction should be concise enough to hold the interest of the interviewer. Generally, a quick recap of your most
compelling qualifications will suffice. You could also throw in a couple of tidbits which are not essential to the job, but
reflect your persona like the fact that you are an avid skier, have performed at comedy clubs or collect African Art. Your
goal is to connect personally with the interviewer as well as to show that you're qualified for the job.
Of course, your initial comments should show your enthusiasm for the job and organization. However,don't overdo it and
don't spend too much time talking about yourself. The interviewer has an agenda and time is limited, so keep it short so
you can move on to the next question.
FollowUp Questions
The interviewer may follow up your introduction with more questions, so it's important to remember that you will need to
support whatever assertions you make during your introduction. Be prepared to provide specific examples of how and
where you have utilized your assets to successfully carry out work or volunteer roles, academic projects or other
productive endeavors.

List out the things the employer & their object by hiring you Brief introduction I amAditya kashyap I have been into equity research profile where I was into analysis of equities which I liked the most,I was focuing more on short termrecommendations for the clients I amgood at analysing situation & revert back with proper answer to the given situations Such examples were day to day workk in share market every decision is to be taken within blink of an eye.2nd would be the men’s wear vs women’s wear vs children wearsegment choosing 3rd was As we all know Markets are quite unpredictable & at the given stipulation I was good at analysing the market conditions & its effects on the financial market. Achivement like I got 88 %ile I got very good remarks fromthe clients I got two awards for the best performance in a month I ama hardworking person Summarize your key attributes Tell me about yourself it’s actually one of the best opportunities an interviewer can give you because you can answer any way you’d like. Prepare for this question by going over your resume as well as the qualifications and responsibilities listed in the original job posting. Why you left the previous job I had to tell that I left the job because - My father’s health was not good he was hospitalized as he is a patient of stomach related decease - I was looking for a career change as well.The industry in which I was broking industry so wanted to change the field - I was not getting enough opportunities as compared to intitial days - Because I wanted to change the field i.e. from broking /sales to finance or research industry - I wanted to be in analysis industry - I wanted to change the field of job & I wanted to take time to study it properly ,so that I can give my 100 % about job preparation
  • 2.  Page 2 What is your current CTC OR LAST DRAWN salary I was getting 2.47 lacs pa What about package you are expecting You can provide me as per company standards say it upfront that majorly I am looking for a better profile According to jeeja ji I could not see any career growth in my current /last job since last 1 year & then I had decided to move I could not get enough time to prepare myself & finally I decide to prepare myself but I was not able to give 100 % for interviewsin a proper way According to Aashi Because I wanted to explore more /in this field & I wanted to be in analysis field which needs preparation ,so I decided to quit & prepare for interviews in a specific manner According to me During last year I felt that I am not getting growth opportunities started preparing for interviews but when you realize that it is very difficult to get a job without prepration. But due to long working hours 10 -11 hours ,I could not prepare & I already have been there for more then 2 years already Communication is the key when you are talking in an interview try to take time & communicate in a proper manner. Clearity of thought is of utmost importance .It is most important to explain sth in much better way than just explaining for name sake only Tell any thing in lay man’s language Give examples but explain in a layman’s language Try to express by your knowledge ,not by anything else Do not argue or if asked about apples talk about apples not grapes Tell me about yourself What career I am looking into (specifically finance domain vacancies) I always wanted to be into analysis field Be enthusiastic about the job Try to demonstrate your skills by telling that you can look into that share market always interest me Try to persuade & impress the interviewser by telling hobbies & skills ( That are required for the job) E.G. say that I was good at analytical work During the job just like telling I was used to analyze charts & their effects on the setor & to the economy I always wanted to know how to evaluate company or what is the correct price of the stock & wanted to analyse the same so this is the similar profile I am looking.
  • 3.  Page 3 Describe the project or situation that best describe your analytical skills Case 1 ;-During my college time,I was given a case study The topic was to analyse the data & tell to which market segment I should target being the manager of the company.Based on my analytical skills,I found that business has been targeting wrond areas /market All along I was able to show that market should be targeting which segment /aea /market Example;- There were 50 lacs Males & 40 lacs female , It was already there in women clothing & it wants to increase its revenue in % terms ,So it want to target new business segment ,i suggested that it should be targeting men’s clothing as it has good network in small cities as well. I compared men’s clothing to children ‘s clothing & found Men’s clothing is better idea as the company needs to have limited range of products as it would be cost efficient as well. Case 2 There are 7 balls in which 6 balls are of same colour same size same weight is lighter in weight choose that one (Interpretation ;- Firstly divide them in the group of two each side - - weigh them one by one compare two by the other two while weighing them one should be checking a couple should be of equal weight ,if it is unequal its easy to find the heavier couple would be checked again - & with another for comparision - - there surly you would find the answer for the heavier ball) Link ;- https://goo gl/QpPFLA (Find BTW) Be over confident but don’t be less confident Note learn it from GS & EY telephonic rounds As we can learn from HR of the companies that they are confident enough to answer any of the answers of the candidate Don’t think so much Haste is waste so don’t make hasty answers Try to speak in front of mirror Try speaking before reading from books if you don’t understand & don’t know then read & then try to speak after 15 to 30 min. Make an impact by making proper relation by making job description much relevent to the job Viz Add IPO subscription to the invesment banking ( look for sample resume for the profiles) For the TEST where I have done wrong is TTK & Tracxn No. of questions attemted;-Try to solve less questions but those should be right like I did in MAT Exams Don’t be in hurry Don’t be nervous

The core of your response should focus on the key elements in your background which will enable you to excel in the job for which you are interviewing. You should carefully analyze the job prior to the interview so you can point out the interests, skills, experiences and personal qualities which will enable you to meet or exceed the requirements. Keep it Short Your introduction should be concise enough to hold the interest of the interviewer. Generally, a quick recap of your most compelling qualifications will suffice.
