1. Romans 1:18-19
The wrath of God is being revealed from
heaven against all the godlessness and
wickedness of men who suppress the truth
by their wickedness, since what may be
known about God is plain to them, because
God has made it plain to them.

2. Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God’s
invisible qualities—His eternal power and
divine nature—have been clearly seen,
being understood from what has been
made, so that men are without excuse.

3. Romans 1:21
For although they knew God, they neither
glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to
Him, but their thinking became futile and
their foolish hearts were darkened.

4. Romans 1:22-23
Although they claimed to be wise, they
became fools and exchanged the glory of
the immortal God for images made to look
like mortal man and birds and animals and
reptiles.

5. If there is a moral law, then
there is a moral LAWGIVER;
a design, a DESIGNER; a
universe, a FIRST CAUSE.
Everyone is relying on FAITH or a
PHILOSOPHICAL perspective to answer
questions beyond science.
6. The truth being suppressed
is the REALITY of God as
EVIDENCED through
creation.
The debate doesn’t center on evidence, but
the INTERPRETATION of evidence.
The power of clues for God is in the
CUMULATIVE effect of all the clues.
7. The first reason to believe
is, we are here; CREATION
and LIFE itself.
Science cannot answer why there is
SOMETHING rather than NOTHING…
But not only are we here, the universe is
finely tuned and DESIGNED for life.
8. There are two dozen
PHILOSOPHICAL arguments
for God’s existence…
Our culture’s “golden calf” is EVOLUTION as
the glory of God is handed to natural
selection.
Faith is not a blind leap, but a REASONABLE
response to the testimony of creation.

( ) Do the home life help (in bulletin)
( ) Reflect on reasons why I believe in God
( ) Think about my own testimony to God

the faith I hold
