5. Following the events of 9/11, IRC brought together students, ages 11-19, from across NYC to document their experiences of 9/11. In their own words and images, they wrote and illustrated a book entitled, What Will You Do For Peace ?

8. Ms. Ringgold was then commissioned to design a Peace Story Quilt for IRC. The original quilt has been on display throughout NYC and the Tri-State Area.
