3. Causes of young people having little leisure time and under a lot of pressure .
It’s all over the news that youngster nowadays are spending most of their time
on their homework , assignments , and studies . In most countries , some youngster
don’t even have leisure time to relax their mind or to have fun . Leisure activities are
meant to de-stress a person and to carry the attention away from work . When we
don’t relax , we will end up feeling the pressure and stress from our work . Leisure
are important as it will bring the positive flow of energy in a person . But nowadays ,
young people are more focusing on their work because modern life is a busy life , as
they are so busy with their work at home or in their school . Youngster will eventually
be very stress over all of these work and they do not have the time to release their
stress . There are some causes why young people these days have little leisure time
and a lot of pressure .
First of all , one of the main reason of young people to have little leisure time
and are under a lot of pressure is because of their parents . Parents’ mindset are all
the same . Study hard to achieve great results to attend top school and university
and after graduating , their children will get a good job with high salary is the only
way to live their life . Parents usually want their children to do well in school and
attend in higher education in order to have a successful career in the future .By
making sure they will do well in school , parents tend to force their children to attend
tuition everyday after school . Besides , parents will start controlling their children’s
life by limiting them from using the computer , television and more . They want their
children to spend hours each day studying at home rather than playing computers or
having fun . This makes their leisure time extremely limited and the pressure on
them is considerable .

4. Another possibility is that highly competitive in school . There is such thing
called elitism in some countries . Students from top schools tend to look down
students from neighbourhood schools . This will be a stressful thing as the students
from lower ranking will need to work hard to compete the higher ranking .
Competition in schools today is much different than it was years ago . In school ,
students will start comparing their results with their friends . They will feel sad and
stress if they didn’t get great results like their friends , and this will lead them to work
even harder to achieve greater results . Competition among schools and school
districts has led some school to find ways to increase their education system . They
will cut down the recess and free time to give them extra classes to improve their
studies . Some schools focus more on academic so that they will be the top school
by giving pressure to the students .
Lastly , young people nowadays are giving themselves pressure to achieve
success to reach their dreams . Some of them might be worried if they are going to
fail or won’t get the grades that they need for the job or course they want . Young
people have to work hard all the time if they want to enter their desirable university
and college . Most university or college provide scholarships for high achievers
which is not easy to get it . Therefore , they will work extremely hard to get the
scholarships by pushing themselves to study all the time . Those who have financial
problems will also need to work hard to get the scholarship to persuade their dreams
. This will cause the pressure and stress to come as they do not have any time to
rest . They will also need to maintain their performance to get the scholarship . It
means that they will need to study everytime in order to maintain their grades .
To sum up , I believe many young people are under too much of pressure
from their parents , friends and school . We can try to manage our time well by

5. finishing our work earlier than procrastinating it so that we will not be too stressed
out . This is because long-term exposure to stress can lead to serious health
problems . Therefore , it is more important to stay healthy and live happily than
having all the pressure and stress around us .
