AIESEC is the world's largest student-run organization that provides opportunities for leadership development and international internships to youth. It has over 1.7 million members across 107 countries. The organization offers various exchange programs that allow students and recent graduates to intern abroad for 6-78 weeks in areas like business, engineering, education, and social development. The exchange process involves selecting candidates, matching them to internships, providing pre-departure preparation, supporting them during their international experience, and helping them reintegrate upon returning home.

3. “AIESEC Malaysia Go Exchange! Programme (GEP) is designed for students and recent graduates from Malaysia and 107 other countries and territories from across the globe. GEP gives each year more than 7000 students and recent graduates an opportunity to go abroad and live the life changing experience, where cultural understanding and professional experience come together. ” A total of 6 highly dynamic Go Exchange! Programmes are designed to fulfil the needs of Malaysian youths! From volunteering in social issues to working in multinational companies, we have it all!

5. Management Internship: Having an internship in business administration, economics, marketing, HR, finance and other management related issues. (duration: 3-18 months);

6. Technical Internship: internships related to management and development in web, software, networks, and databases, plus some engineering. (duration: 6-18 months);

11. Step 1 : Selection & Application After joining and understanding AIESEC, you can apply for an exchange participant review board (EPRB) which the panellists will evaluate your experiences and motivation for going on an AIESEC exchange. Our EPRB happens all year round - You can contact your nearest local committee or event calendar for upcoming ones! The selection process aims to ensure that everyone participating in an AIESEC exchange is suitable and will have a positive experience while on exchange. It is comprised of exchange participant review board (EPRB): a board that will interview you to assess your suitability to become an exchange participant in several areas.

12. Step 2 : Matching By this stage you have been through the selection process and have become an official AIESEC exchange participant (EP). Now you are able to start being matched to a suitable internship. Normally a exchange manager will be assigned to you to facilitate your matching process. A matching process takes a minimum of 2 weeks to 3 months depending on your internship type as well as your preferences. Typically, development internship is the fastest compared to other internship type.

13. Step 3 : Preparation This step happens before leaving for your exchange experience. It consists of areas such as: Logistical preparation: Ensuring that you are physically and legally prepared to work in another country. Community Involvement: To help you gain an understanding of issues facing the world and your own community. Direct Country preparation: Preparation on the country you will be going to and also culture shock management. AIESEC preparation: Providing you with knowledge about the exchange program and the roles of various entities. The preparation step is critically important to ensure that you are ready to make the most out of your experience in a personal and professional sense. We also see it as an important part in ensuring that the people participating in the exchange program understand their responsibilities and the role that they play in fulfilling AIESEC's vision.

14. Step 4 : Go Exchange! Yay! You are on your way to a whole new journey in life! Upon arriving at your destination, AIESEC members in your host chapter provide support in receiving you, getting logistically setup while providing opportunities for cultural and social activities. They will also provide you with much more information on what to expect during your internship experience and what kind of involvement you can have with AIESEC and the local environment while you are on your exchange experience in a new country.

15. Step 5 : Re-Integration Wow, welcome home hero! Lost track of what happened in Malaysia? No worries! AIESEC supports you in making the readjustment process when you return home.
