The end user can also create primary groups depending upon the nature. Sub groups under primary
group can also be created. Basic information related to ledger accounts is entered here. Hierarchical
display of accounts is also available.
Facility to provide the accounting voucher to users like Receipt, Payment, Journal, Sales, and Purchase is
also available. The system also provides various reports for users like Cash / Bank Books, Ledgers
Account, Group Summary, Month wise Sale/Purchase summary, Daily entries show in Day Book, Profit
and Loss, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet along with consolidated Ledger Account.
In all reports the system provides back tracking facility to user similar to Tally. In Account posting option
the bills for patient are entered OPD/IPD/Investigation section. The financial effect for those bills is
given here by selecting the bills to be posted to accounts. Similarly Purchase bill, Purchase Return bills
are given financial effect. Here we can also post Medical Stores bills. While posting a bill the Patient A/c
will be auto generated. Auto calculation for Professional Charges for Doctors can be done using the
system.

24. MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (MIS)
The purpose of this module is to provide all the information; you need about the working of your
hospital. This is an important tool to control and effectively manage the entire operation in the hospital
in a very efficient manner and take it to the path of growth.
Lifeline has hundreds of reports covering all aspects & departments of the hospital. All reports are
available for draft, windows as well as HTML format. You can also have reports for any flexible duration,
user, payment mode, department, consultant, panel, etc.
The module also provides all business reports department wise like PD credit details, concession
statement, total IPD billing statement, OPD concession statement, business statement, cash cheque
statement, department wise IPD admission and billing, OPD IPD business, department expenses
statements, patient type test wise count, pathology test count, patient type wise pathology collection ,
patient type wise diagnosis test report, OPD IPD based diagnosis income ,IPD advance/bill register.

27. ADD ON MODULES
This module is used for taking the feedback and complaints from the patients, for maintaining the
information of ambulance and the machinery information which have to give for calibration in future.
Ambulance Performa keeps record of the performance of the ambulance with details like patient name,
accident details, and distance from the hospital, informer details, and details of the resuscitation,
medical action taken on the spot and during the transportation and opinion by patient relatives about
the ambulance service.
Patient Feedback is maintained for the hospital. We can give the rating to different departments as per
patient opinion. There is also facility to enter the suggestions and details of pending issues if any.
Complaint Book is to maintain complaints of the patients.
Machinery Information part has information of the devices which have to calibrate in future with details
like manufacturer name, serial number, identification number, calibration type, calibration period and
calibration company name in this form. Software generates Calibration schedule automatically for
various devices.
This module includes Marketing and counseling which includes mail merge, email support, SMS support,
FTP support, intranet messaging & SMS, Presentation tool, case studies.
