To Whom It May Concern:
From 2008 to 2009 I worked with Mr. Dabney on the 3.4 billion dollar expansion of the
Marathon Oil Refinery in Garyville, Louisiana. I found Mr. Dabney to be knowledgeable
in all aspects of construction (including civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation,
piping, and rotating equipment). Mr. Dabney consistently demonstrated that he had the
knowledge and leadership capabilities to identify potential problems and develop
effective workarounds saving the project both time and money. He earned the respect of
those who worked with him, being fair and balanced in his dealings with others.
Mr. Al Dabney is a hard worker (usually one of the first in and last out each day). He
would be an asset to any company looking for a dedicated employee with varied
construction expertise and exceptional leadership abilities.

Subject RE: Reference Letter
Al,
Good to hear your family is doing well. I hope the attached letter will
help
in your future endeavors. I doubt that I was able to fully convey how I
felt
about your very skilled work but I tried to present it as simple as
possible:
you got the job done in an excellent manner under difficult
circumstances and
at the same time made it as pleasant as possible. Thank-you for a great
job
and making my 12-month tour in Afghanistan pleasant and productive.
Please
contact me if I can provide additional information. Come by the office
here
in D.C. if you are in the area.
Thanks,
LTC Jim Utley
