1. Teacher holds up the flash cards of objects,
fruits and animals.
2. Teacher asks the pupils to give the correct
articles, the adjectives and the prepositions of
the objects and fruits.
3. Teacher tells the pupils that they are going to sit
for a grammar test and do a bit of revision.
To elicits pupils’ prior knowledge on
the grammar points.
What is the correct article

What are the correct
adjectives for …?
Today, you are having a
grammar test but first, let’s
do some revisions.
Pre Test
( 14 minutes )
Flash cards of
objects, fruits and
animals
1. Teacher pastes a few more flash cards of
objects, fruits and animals on the whiteboard.
2. Teacher asks the pupils to get in groups, 4
groups of 6 and 1 group of 5.
3. Teacher asks the pupils to list out the correct
articles to use for the objects, the correct
adjectives describing the animals and fruits and
the correct prepositions for the objects in the
flash cards.
4. Teacher monitors the activity.
5. Teacher asks each group to read the answers.
To instil co-operation among the
pupils.
To check pupils’ understanding of
