towels and made ups. We have our own manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art

History:
Tulip Towel was established in 1998 with a philosophy of revolutionary change in towel
industries from middle to high end quality fashion towels. We were the pioneers to
install shuttle less terry weaving machines in Pakistan to make quality towels and
bathrobes as per European Standards. We started our business with plain dyed basic
towels then gradually grow with other value added products, like Yarn dyed,
Embroidered, Velour and Printed Towels in different yarn qualities such as Combed,
Egyptian Cotton, Low Twist, Zero Twist, Modal, Bamboo and Viscous in 100% cotton and
blended with other fibers .

availability of sized beams for weaving.

15. The weaving looms ‘Vamatex Dyna Terry’ these two brands are known for their
high quality terry production with very less rejections. Our loom setup is totally
electronically controlled for normal and fancy changes. All looms are serviced by
vacuum cleaning system to ensure least fluff on looms and within the weaving
shed.

17. We have a versatile dyeing department of with Soft flow dyeing machines in different
capacity which giving us the flexibility to dye reactive as well as VAT in any shades of
our customer imagination. Our dedicated finishing ranges impart softness, absorbency
and extra whiteness to towel.

Our associated dyeing house “Nazeer Dyeing & Finishing” is able to handle big orders
and can dye 16000kg per day but there committed capacity for us is 8000kg per day
which is equivalent to 2400 M. Ton per annum.

For yarn dyeing orders our associated dyeing house “Textile Forte” have committed
capacity of 50,000kg per months which gives annual capacity as 600 M. Ton.

Stitching Facility…
For Towels/Bathrobes:
Tulip has 3 stitching floors, one for bathrobes & made ups and other two are for
towels. Each towel floor can stitch 10,000pcs of bath towels per day in general
whereas 1000 bathrobes can be stitched & packed on bathrobe floor. So the
annual capacity of confection is as under
•Bathrobes: 1000pcs per day, 300,000 Pcs per annum.
20. Confection department is equipped with a mix of European and Japanese
machines. The manufacturers of these machines also provide in-house training to
our production staff. Tulip product range includes bathrobes, pure white
institutional towels, solid dyed, yarn dyed stripes and Jacquard towels in variety of
sizes and weights. The department is equipped with Juki machines. We can stitch
20,000 towels per day capacity in two dept.

monitoring at each step of manufacturing process. Tulip has a very

1-QUALITY CONTROLLING..
Yarn quality is tested from accredit testing laboratories before weaving. Count,
TPI, Lea Strength, Hairiness, Fiber Content and Humidity are tested for all yarn
purchasing lots and issue only tested yarn for weaving.
1.1 QUALITY CONTROLLING befORe weAvING –YARN QUALITY TESTING:
The weight and size accuracy of towels be controlled at weaving by technical
formulas and lab test reports. The loom supervisor maintains the quality of
loom-state towels by given weaving specification of approved sample.

The buyer’s approved color swatch be maintained and followed at every bulk dye
lots. A batch number has been assigned for every dye lot and color is checked from
three different places (start-end-middle) with mother color swatches in the light box
at approved parameters. All un-matched dye lot is returned to dye house for re-
processing. A color band of matched dye lot is kept in record for future dyeing. All
repeat color batcher is not only check with mother color swatch but also with color
bands of previous dye lots to assure shade continuity

Trim Quality Inspectors are deputed on each stitching floor that ensure issuance of
perfect trims (wash & care labels, hangtags, inlays, poly bags, barcode stickers etc)
according to customers approved sample. They reject all low quality and/or
unmatched trims to purchasing staff for re-procurement. They also check the
readability and perfect ness of all barcodes before use into production. Each
stitching floor has its own “Silo” maintained by above Trim Quality Inspectors who
supplies trims on batches not at once.

There are number of in-line checkers on each stitching floor check the quality of
products during stitching and remove defected towels to ensure the delivery of only
A-Grade products to our customers. The labels of all defected towels are mutilated
to identify them as “B-Grade” then throw to a basket marked as “B-grade”. When
such baskets be full all towels is removed from the floor to avoid accidental mixing
of B-products with A-Grade. They also monitor size and weight of each towels make
reports for record and reject all under-weight and shorter size towels out of
tolerance level. Each quality inspector be assigned a QC number and they put a little
round QC-passed sticker mentioning their assigned number on back side of label of
every towel to identify the inspector who passed the good during in-line inspection.
After completion of an order a Final Random Inspection (FRI) has been performed
on AQL Level II as per buyer’s given standard or general European standards. The
internal FRI report has been kept in record and send to buyer upon request even
when there is no third party or buyer’s own inspection has involved.

This department has highly responsible to manage all accessories stuck at right
palace; barcodes detail as well as goods are stitch/fold and packed as per customer
requirement.

This area is very sensitive and do not allow any outsider. All quality passed goods
identity with green sticker which confirms these goods are ready for carton packing.

Before we start the container loading, it is very important to check the carton
detail with packing list to avoid short/misplace cartons and make sure all
goods has been received in warehouse from packing area. This department
has also responsible to check the carton strength with sticking method to
ensure carton strength. Now goods are passed for container loading.
Security head is responsible to check thoroughly container and ensure the
container is not damage/hole. In the respect of other way container go back
and call other container

Note: This schedule is reviewed by shipping company quarterly.
The goods can be palletized in our factory but freight cost be increased including palletization
cost. Also we can deliver the goods to dry port (other than basic seaports) but haulage will be
arranged by shipping company. Also DDU and DDP deliveries possible but it will cost more to
customers if we arrange these deliveries here from Pakistan. So it is always suggested for
basic in-coterms FOB or CNF.

90 days is required to deliver an order in general.
Explanation: 30 days is required to weave an order of 4000kg on a loom, 7 days for
dyeing, 4 days for confection, 2 days for packing & 2 days for logistic arrangement. So
45days is the min requirement to complete an order but to catch the loom availability
every order have to wait for its turn i.e. 45 days more is required for this waiting
period. Therefore 90days is our lead time in general but we always made the
shipment before this deadline.
