1. How to Fix error 1713?
Error 1713 appears while installing Microsoft
Office. The following error appears:
Error: "MSI_package_name cannot install one of
its required products. Contact your technical
support group.

2. Modify the Registry

Click Start, select Run.

Write RegEdit and press ENTER.

Browse the following registry key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTInstallerProducts

Click Edit | Find

In the Find What dialog, type Microsoft English TTS Engine.

Deselect the following checkboxes: Keys Values

Click Find Next.

From the search results that appear, you may get a string Product
Name with Microsoft English TSS Engine value. Delete it.

Close Registry Editor.

This will fix error 1713.

3. Clean Temporary Files
If you don’t have a System Cleaner software then
use the Disk CleanUp as shown below:




Click Start, select All Programs | Accessories
|System Tools.
Select Disk CleanUp option.
Select system drive, usually drive C.
Click OK.

4. Use System Restore
The System Restore utility can help you to fix
error 1713.





Click Start, select All Programs | Accessories |
System Tools.
Select System Restore.
Click Next.
Follow the installation wizard. Finish it.

5. Block the Startup Programs





Click Start, select Run.
Write MSCONFIG and press ENTER.
click the Startup tab
Disable all the startup programs you want to
stop.
Click Apply | OK
