2. Dear Parents,
This year we are offering an even more varied and
interesting choice of after school clubs for Key
Stage 2 students (years 3-6). We believe that the
participation of children in such activities is very
beneficial for your child’s physical and social skills.
As a school we would like as many children to
participate in as many clubs that interest them as
possible.
The clubs will start on the 12th January and
continue until the 25th March 2010. We are offering
some new clubs as well as clubs that were very
popular from last year.
Regular attendance to club activities is very
important for your child as well as other students
in the club. Therefore, once you register your child,
please make sure that they attend every week to
get the full benefit.
The clubs will run every Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday from 15:15 until 16:15. Please be
punctual to pick your child from the pickup point
at the ground floor of the primary school entrance.
If you would like your child to be brought by
The International School of Bucharest
3. school bus, please contact directly the transport
company.
There are limited spaces for all clubs, so places
will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Children staying for clubs get hungry after a long
day at school. Therefore, we ask you to prepare a
sandwich for your child on the day/s of their
clubs.
The deadline for registering for clubs this term is
Friday, 18 December 2009.
As mentioned, students can register for more than
one club provided that they run on different days.
Please contact the secretary (Ms. Angela Scorcia)
to register your child.
Kind regards,
Faruk Erduran
