Connected. I think that meet, created opportunities for fostering relationships. 10 years must have thought all of us that friends and relationships are fragile.I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. (Arthur Henry Hallam)Kah San (or Jacky) – was my primary school mate. Played games during recess. Scraped our knees. Then we went our separate ways. We talked again here, although briefly. Then I had the privilege of seeing him off to Dubai.
By the end of the day, it makes you ask yourself, have I been living enough to have made something significant in someone elses life.
Perhaps, it is the ability to just be human; full of insecurities, flaws, errs, and yet – to be honest among peers, and always always hopeful – that is something that money cannot buy. And that to me, is a factor I want to keep harvesting.Live & Love
Let’s talk about the decade - After school, we all went to college/university, some decided otherwise. Some had cute young versions of themselves; babies. Some are professors in the making. Some are doctors. Pro dancers, pro DJs… Some, have your own businesses. Some are budding philosophers – trying to seek meaning in all this.
Let’s look at some of the Good : Starbucks, Friendster-MySpace-Facebook… The rise of Apple. Obama, change. Twitter.The Bad : 9-11, Katrina, Sars, H1N1…Tying factor that brought all of these together : It brought people together. Latters, iPods, Facebook, Tsunami, voting and hoping for change, the collective individual voice.
What next – happens to be a valid question. And while I was searching for some motivation… I came across several cool stuff…
