Magna Carta was written for england.
Magna Carta was written June 12, 1215
It limited the power of the monarchys.
It was a form of “rule of law” Because it
gave people more freedom to say and get
what they wanted from the government.

3. Glorious revolution
The glorious revolution took place in engalnd.
William of orange took over the kinds place.
The english bill or rights changed the power of kings.

The english bill of rights was written 1689
The english bill of rights limited the rights
of the kings and made sure that the people
had some power. It also made sure that
things the people might want get done.

Enlightenment was a group of intellectuals.
And it represented a new way of thinking.
It took placed between 17th and 18th
century
It was important because it was more based
on science than on god. It showed us that
we didn’t have to base everything on what
the church said because it wasn’t always
true.

He was famous for his theory of
seperation of powers.

Its a theory that states that people are
born with certain rights, They don’t have to
earn that. And no government can take away
their rights.

Lifespan was from 1712-1778
The social contract is the concept that
people have made an agreement with their
government where people and the
government have their own responsibilitys.
This way the government gave them
structure and protection.

9. Thomas Jefferson
Thomas jefferson was from virginia
He was famous for with four other people
writing the declaration or independence
Because they cant promise you that you will
be prosperous but they can promise that you
can be happy if you try.
