2. Why create a Technology Use Plan?
1. Find better ways to incorporate technology by determining the needs of the
faculty, students and administrators.
2. Create a technology design that can be flexible to accomodate new
technologies as they emerge.
3. Establish a plan for continued technological advancement for students and
faculty.

4. What is the process for forming this
plan?
1. Organize and choose the ideal planning team.
2. Research the technological needs of the school faculty and students.
3. Identify the vision for the plan and build a mission statement that embodies
that vision.
4. Put the Technology Use Plan into a formal document.
5. Implement the plan and continue to evaluate it and make changes as
necessary.

5. What is our vision statement?
Our mission is to establish functioning ,
flexible and sustainable technology in our
school so that teachers and administrators
are able to learn how to integrate new
technologies in a deeper, more meaningful
way as well as create real-life applications
for the emerging generations of students.

6. What are some of our goals?
Goal 1: Provide web-based tools and services for
administrators, teacher, students and parents to use.
Goal 2: Provide all classrooms and offices with updated
versions of software programs (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel,
Powerpoint, Office, etc.)
Goal 3: Institute viable financial options and grant programs
for technology integration into curriculum.
