▪ High-throughput screening (HTS) of NCE’s(Natural/Synthetic therapeutic molecules) using mammalian cell lines(L6,C2C12,H9C2,3T3-L1,3T3-A31,HepG2,HEK293,CHO-K1).
▪ Target focussed projects handled:
 Standardization of the diabetic in-vitro assay model which deals with the comparative study of the efficacy of different Insulin analogues (Bio-similar), through assessing the percentage glucose drop using 3T3-L1 cell line.
 Standardization of Mitogenic or cell proliferation assay model for the investigation of Mitogenic property of different Insulin analogues (Bio-similar) on induced diabetic model (hyperglycaemic condition) using 3T3-L1 cell line.

2. PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION
 Investigated the effect of Hepatocyte Nuclear Factor-4α phosphorylation and its transactivation and assessing AMPK activation in Hepatocytes on Type 2 Diabetes assay model.
 Assessed the effect of cationic amphiphilic drugs induced Phospholipidosis and their in-vitro high throughput screening (HTS) in CHO-K1 cell line using the fluorescent-labelled phospholipid probe.
 Standardized the bio-assay for the analysis of Nephrotoxicity (ADME/Tox) in HEK-293 cell lines and in-vitro screening of the NCE’s (New Chemical Entities) on induced Type 2 Diabetic assay model.
 Investigated the relationship between IMTG (Intramuscular triglycerides) and Insulin resistance in Obese Type 2 Diabetic in-vitro model on C2C12 cell line followed by high throughput screening of new chemical entities for its respective efficacy.
 Investigated the effect of HSD11b1 mediated Endoplasmic Reticulum stress (ADME/Tox) on Type 2 Diabetic invitro model using C2C12 cell line.
 Studied the expression of CPT1A gene and ECHS1 gene which play a major role in accumulation of fat in the liver and is associated with insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes mellitus followed by high throughput in-vitro screening of new chemical entity for its efficacy.
 University teaching of subjects namely Stem Cell Technology & Animal Biotechnology, Administrative responsibilities (Pedagogy development, Training, workshop & seminar organization).
 Guided & co-ordinated graduate and post-graduate interns in project work concerned to Heavy metal Bioremediation and Food Bio-preservatives.
