Extensive research and focus studies on how children respond to our characters, universe, interactivity, and goals in the Green Kids initiative. Develop classroom transmedia curriculum and assessment in videos, ebooks, magazines, online and social media outreach. Create complimentary curriculum materials that a teacher can use in the classroom.
8. 8 Amerikids Research Plan Work with scientists, ecologists, environmentalists, endangered species scholars worldwide. Work with educators to develop learning styles for children to understand concepts extinct, endangered, threatened, species, pollution, habitats, ecology, bio-diversity, sustainability, environment, global warming, disease, drought, flooding. Work with digital education scholars to develop Green Kids prototypes and pilots based on our research findings. Prove that children are actually learning green concepts and media literacy from Green Kids. Review present children’s science products. No present learning tools available for children to master green concepts and motivate interest in science.
9. 9 Funding and Corporate Outreach Given this Obama $150 billion green mandate and Race to the Top Federal Education Funding we see concentrated attention in Green Science and Technology education. A standalone children’s educational Green brand product allows Amerikids to work with eager Green corporations. Digital natives are comfortable with technology and are concerned for their planet. We’ll motivate students to love science and become scientists.
