School Experience : My First Day In My School
I transferred into an all girls catholic school junior year, and it was and it was the most awful
experiences to date. The only good part about attending the school was that it helped me recognize
that I had severe anxiety, other then that there is nothing that I took out of going to school there.
My first day, I will never forget, I was handed a schedule with rooms, a rule book, and told my
uniform was already not appropriate. I wasn't able to start class until someone dropped off socks
that were the appropriate length, I had to wait in the Deans office until my Aunt ran to the store, and
back to the school to drop them off. By the time I was approved to go to classes I had already
missed my first two classes. I was sent off to find my next class all alone, the school was huge,
with a lot of twists and turns, I remember walking through the crowds of girls passing me by
feeling as if the room was spinning, we only had 4 minutes in between classes to get to our lockers,
and to the next class.
Finally the bell rang and there was no one left in the halls, but me. I found my class only to be 20
minutes late. I walked in wanting to cry with my face bright red, there were about 25 girls just
staring at me. The class was my first ever french class, the teacher turned to me and said "class this
is so–and–so she decided to start in the middle of our semester, she will have to catch up quickly"
then she said to me "Please recite the Lord's prayer in french"... I just starred at her

Personal Narrative : My First Day At School
BEEP, BEEP, BEEP! My digital clock struck 7:00, my light turned on, and I got ready. "Oh, it's
my first day of second grade," I remembered while putting on my hat. The sun was shining through
my bedroom window, lighting up the corners of the room. This is 2011 in September and I was
ready for my first day of second grade. I walked out of my room, seeing my entire family arisen from
their peaceful slumber. I sat down at the table, pouring in a bowl of Kix and scarfing them down like
I haven't eaten in days. Once everyone was done getting ready for school, my mom driven me,
Caiden, Aaron, and Moriah to school. I was back at Barker Elementary as a second grader. I couldn't
wait to see my new classroom. I arrived to school at 8:15, class...show more content...
I thought that third time's the charm. I saw people playing hand ball. I thought that I'd be good at
this. Waited in line until it was my turn. I served the ball. I threw it. My opponent countered with
his hit. I tried to hit it, but my swing missed. The ball bounced twice. I was out. I have no activity,
with no friends, and no new life. After the end of recess and another session of S.C.H.O.O.L. (Six
Cruel Hours Of Our Lives), It was time for lunch. I brung a corn dog, a Wild Cherry Capri–Sun,
applesauce, and 2 Oreos. I sat at where all the other 2nd graders were (that was when I noticed
that each grade has their own assigned seating). I was quiet when I got to the table to sit down. I
was a little shy due to my weak ability of playing with physical contact. I heard other second
graders talking to each other about things that they liked. I didn't bother, I stayed quiet while
eating my food for the rest of the time during lunch. Once school ended, I waited in car line for
my mom to pick me up. I was picked up from a white prius. I was heading home. "So, how was
your first day of school, "my mom asked. I was still quiet like a toy with no squeaker. Once I got
home I went to my room and got on my tablet, which was on my night stand charging. I unplugged it
and played Angry Birds. When it was 5:00, it was time to got to my grandparents' church.
Once we got to MEFC (Mission Ebenezer Family Church), I asked my grandmother a question,

Well, here it is,the day I've been dreading since Mrs. Mercer first brought it up. This day honestly
came way too fast! When I first got my schedule and seen current health issues, I was like what in
the world? So the first day of school came about and it was time for seventh period. When I
realized it was Mrs. Mercer's class, I got extremely happy. I wasn't sure what to expect the first
few days. As the days went on, all 13 of us started to get the hang of everything and bonded
instantly. This is definitely a class that I'll always remember and I will truly miss! We've all had
happy times, sad times, angry times, and a lot of fun times. I've honestly took in a lot from RY,
especially snap and zap. Snap and Zap is where you snap out of bad thoughts and zap in good
thoughts. I found if you do that then you wouldn't have as much anxiety build up. I feel like the
RY class has helped a lot with my anxiety and anger. Mrs.Mercer and the 12 others in RY have
been there for me since the first day. I want to thank all you guys. When class first started, I wasn't
sure if I wanted to open up because at that time I only talked to like two people. I wasn't sure if I
could trust everyone. Well about the second week I felt like I had a family A family that I can talk to,
cry too, get advice from, never be judged by, a family that I can just simply enjoy. One that Id die
to have at home. I knew if I couldn't trust anyone else, I had 13 other people that I knew for a fact
that I could run to

Essay about First Day of Secondary School
First Day of Secondary School – Original Writing I was so excited yet so terrified at the thought of
my first day in secondary school. It felt much to me like my first day as an adult, the first day I
ever felt grown up. As I packed my spanking new bag full of spanking new pens and pencils, I
couldn't help but think would all the rumours about head flushing, bullying and heaps upon heaps
of homework be true? I guess I was about to find out. Sporting my smart new navy blazer, white
shirt and tie I slammed the door behind me and swiftly scurried to my friend Vicki's house. I
knocked on the door and when it opened I could see that all my anticipation and excitement was
being shared in Vicki's...show more content...
Everyone instantaneously sat down like a dog obeying its owner, as Mr King gave us the
instructions for the day. After about fifteen minutes of worthless gibberish, we went on to our first
lessons. The corridors were like a swarming maze. Everyone was crammed in, grabbing on to
people's bags so they wouldn't be pushed over. Finally after taking a few wrong turnings we found
the right class and sat in our friendship groups. This lesson was maths, and we watched one of those
mind–numbing educational videos. Our teacher, Mrs Branfield had a strong Somerset accent, and
was a nice teacher. She wasn't too strict but she had the class under control. I was good at maths
back then, so it soon became one of my favourite subjects. I was entered into the Maths Challenge
that year, and came out with a Bronze certificate, which was good for my year. Our first lesson sped
past and we now were on the mission to find our next class. I was on my own now as no one I knew
was in my D.T class. I asked the teacher where my next classroom was, and finally found it after
following some kids I recognised from my last lesson. When I found the class I went and sat with
a girl I didn't know. We were told the projects we'd be making that year which was a drawing
board and an alarm, both of which didn't turn out too good. This lesson too sped past and next was
my first recess. Recess was the chance

My First Day In School Essay
First week of School Ever since I came back to America, (I went to China when I was 2 years old
and came back at the age of 4) I was introduced to a place where I have never been before, Naples,
New York, the home of the world's greatest grape pie. My parents saw it as a opportunity to open
up a restaurant and use it to support our family. My first experience in Naples was helping hold
garbage bags while my father and mother were cleaning out the old post office, so we could
renovate it. I was probably one of the most bored kids in town because of the fact that for many
days that's all I did. As months went by the restaurant first opened and I was told to stay upstairs
all day, which also got very boring watching American tv shows in which I couldn't even understand
any of it. As time flew by, I was soon expected to go toschool (so my parents don't have to watch out
for me every day). Before I was driven to school, I had no idea where I was going so I didn't think
much of it. But right as I arrived, I had an idea of what I was about to do, go to school. For the first
time in my life I was going into a school where I don't speak the language, nor do I know anyone. I
had no idea what was going on as my father brought me to a building where I was led to a
classroom where there were other children my age that all looked at me. I had no idea on why I
had to come here and I desperately wanted to go back home, but unfortunately he had to work and
left. I was left there at a

New life in a new country For many people, coming to school the first day always has been an
exciting experience and like a little adventure. That very first day of school will become a
significant day in everyone life, a day to celebrate. I had my first day of school too; I couldn't
remember all the details; but somehow, I can still feel the excitement and curiosity that I had at
the time. It would be impossible for anyone to travel back in time to look back on their first day
of school. But, I was lucky that I was able to have another opportunity to feel the same excitement
and curiosity again. It was recently when my family moved to America. Growing up in a small
town, everyone knows each other, so it was harder for me to say goodbye to everyone, especially
my close friends. I was depressed on departing day because I knew I would miss my friends,
family, foods, festivals, air, beach, and the sky full of stars. I knew it wouldn't be the same in
America, but I had no choice at the time. "Is that tree dead?" my mother asked me after we leave
the Dulles International Airport in D.C and on our way to our new home in America. I look
around from the small taxi's window, and I was quite surprised to see something so marvelous.
This was the first time in my life I saw a tree quite big without a single leaf. I thought it was dead
too, so I asked the taxi driver, and he responded me with a laugh. Later, when we arrived at our new
home, I found out that the tree is just sleeping

A bright but cold morning January in 2014, I woke up early, I jumped and smiled because it was
my first day of school. First I went to take a shower; I thought, "What I would do in school today,
who will be my teachers". Then I walked to the bus stop people looked at me like I'm not from
this planet. I sat on a tree trunk waiting for the bus. The bus arrived after 15 minutes, I aboard the
bus. The driver was a woman she was wearing a black shirt and brown pants. She told me " Do you
have the paper that shows that you have permission to go to school in a school bus" I stared at her
and said " No English". A very good girl who was blonde hair translated into Spanish what the

The teacher smiled at me and said in Spanish "Good morning sit her at the first row." I sat there,
and she explains to me what they were doing, I get along with her very fast. The bell rang and I

they can help me, but they were telling me " you are very stupid." Then they stole my pencil,
ripped the sheet out of my notebook, and they wrote in my notebook this " Go where you came
from, we do not want you here!. Then I went to the bathroom to cry, and they chased me there and
pushed and telling me a that I am a crybaby.
After that class, I went to my math class to left my backpack and go to eat at the cafeteria, but I
was not hungry, so I sat at a table in the last row. I began to think "If I continue to be sad I'm going
to get sick" I start thinking how I will be smart, I start to organize. First I will put a lot of attention
in the English class and practice what the teacher says and read books. I thought too "If they push
me one more time I will tell to the teacher because I am a human, not an animal." The bell rang,
and we went back to the classroom. Well, math was a little easy for me because all was about
numbers. After two months I start to understand English, now life was easy for me.
In conclusion, after nine months I learned to speak and write English. I start helping some students
that they don't know English

This past year from when I was a "little" seventh grader to now has been quite interesting. The first
day of school was on my birthday and I started off sick. Yeah, it wasn't very pleasant. I missed the
first three days of school. When I was better, I was very scared and nervous for all the new
teachers and classes. I knew most of the seventh and eighth grade teachers, but I had never been
in their class before. Soon, I learned that they were all extremely nice and loved to teach. I had
tried to memorize my schedule before, so I wouldn't go to the wrong class. My first class was art,
and then math, science, lunch, P.E., language arts, quest, and finally social studies. I remember
Mr. Munford told us that he hopes we would be a pretty good class. I think our class turned out
pretty well. I was involved in many fun activities last year. One of them was "FCA" which stands
for "fellowship of christian athletes." "FCA" was extremely fun because we met on Friday
mornings before school and we got to eat doughnuts and things like that and then we would talk
about different things that involved with Christians. Another activity I was involved in was
C.L.O.W.N. troupe it was pretty funny seeing everybody's clown costumes. The "veteran" clowns
had to help train the new clowns that joined that year. All the clowns had to create a presentation to
present to little kids. Our presentation for the year was about sharing and having good manners. We
never got to go to the other schools and

My First Day Of School Essay
The first day of school is nerve–wracking for most people, for me, the first day was especially
terrifying. The first day of a college class is probably more crazy than all others. My mom and
younger sister, Michaela, were busy taking pictures as I attempted to run out of the door. After
being homeschooled for the last six years, I knew it would be a much different experience. I had
been in my room alone doing school; I was content with where I was. The morning of the first day
of class, I was so busy that I didn't have time to be nervous. However, as I ran out the door, my heart
rate elevated to a pace of 138 bpm. I felt older, nervous, excited, and anxious as I left for Pellissippi.
Although it had been six years since I had been in a classroom, I realized that all of my worry was for
nothing once I walked into Ms. Brown's class.
The summer after I completed the 6th grade, my parents decided to pull me out of my Baptist,
private school and homeschool me. I, like most kids, was not thrilled with the decision, but being
only 11 years old, I had no say in the matter. Despite my initial reservations, being homeschooled
was a great experience for me, but I began to get bored. I missed seeing people every day. It was just
me and my family. I was ready for a new experience, something big, and college was exactly what I
was looking for. It was Sunday night, and there was a high probability that class would be cancelled.
I prayed that that wouldn't happen, however, it did. The

From the moment I walked into this school in fourth grade, I knew that I would have an exciting
adventure here, at Maple Place School. On the first day of school in fifth grade I was welcomed
by one of the best teachers here. I was excited to have her as my science teacher because her smile
made my day just a little bit better. I walked into the gym and didn't recognize anybody, that's
because I was a new student. Everybody was welcoming their peers and friends back to school,
and I was standing in the gym, watching. But, I was excited to start at yet another new school. I
was used to changing schools, I had already done it twice. I know that it doesn't matter how many
friends I will or will not have during my four years here, it's about my education and journey with
the friends that I have. There were oh so many journeys that my friends and teachers took me on.
One of the most important things that my teachers taught me was to never give up. My friends
encouraged me to move on, and to walk away from fights, and much more. One of the most
important event that I remember was when I did something that I regretted. I realized that I didn't
want to be the rude person in the grade. I knew that it wasn't the road that I wanted to go down, I
wanted to go on the right road, make the right choices, not the wrong ones. Which, I made sure of.
Over the course of two years I had finished many quizzes, tests, and assignments. I had also gone
through two friends. I found that some

Fear began taking once again. I was heading into my first school in America. I had traveled a long
separation from Bangladesh keeping in mind the end goal to join my mom, who had been here
United States for a long time, trusting America would help my future. In my nation, all people
dreams to come America to on the grounds that America is an affluent nation. However my dad
concluded that I would be in an ideal situation going to class here, so I admitted in the Cambridge
Public School in my new town Cambridge, MA. My first day at school was extremely terrified and
uneasiness.
After reading "Superman and Me" was an extraordinary ordeal. It made me understand that I am so
fortunate to have such extraordinary instructive open doors that will enable me to succeed further
down the road. I recall my first day of secondary school like it was 2 years prior. I had an awful
night's rest. I woke up to the sound of my caution humming by my head. Pulling my dormant and
tired body out of my bed, I put on my glasses as I advanced toward the restroom. I did my standard
morning normal, realizing that this time was distinctive. This was paving the way to my first day.
Completing, I came back to my room where I had laid out my uniform pleasant and slick
(something that I wouldn't accomplish for the following 3 years). I had my fresh and clean white
polo shirt, my stunning dim jeans, and in particular, my navy colour vest with the school logo on it.
As I put on my uniform, I knew I was one

Emily's First Day of School
7:00 a.m. I wake up to the sound of my phone screaming in my ear. My mom is also yelling
"Emily, turn that alarm off! Some of us are trying to sleep!" Today is the first day of school so my
friends are all texting me. As I walk to the bathroom, I grab a skirt and a top that I hung up last
night. My friends and I decided that we should all wear skirts on the first day of school. As I finish
getting ready I grab my phone to look at the time. The time is 8:15, so I run downstairs and find
that my family has already cleaned up breakfast, but as usual my mom has left me a waffle to
grab as I run out the door. I arrive to school just in time to find my friends are beginning to walk
inside. But just as I spot them I realize that I am not wearing the right outfit. While I was getting
ready they decided to wear dresses. I search my purse for my phone and it is nowhere to be found.
This is beginning to be a bad day. My friends all walk over to my car, but I don't want to face them.
This same thing happened to another girl that is in the group last year. We had decided to wear
jeans, but then switched to jean shorts because it was really hot out. We all didn't talk to her until
her mom brought her jean shorts. I decide its best if I just drive home and grab a dress and my
phone and be a little late to school. So as I pull out I yell to thaem that I'll be back soon. As I drive
home I'm thinking about which dress to wear. As I pull into my driveway I've

On my first day of middle school I ecstatically jumped out of my bed as my alarm blared in my ears.
I put on my clothes I set out the day prior and ran downstairs to get my things for school. I
remember being so excited I was completely ready for school half an hour before I needed to be. It
all fell apart as I got to the bus. I suddenly became really nervous and was happy to have one of my
best friends, Jasmine at the bus stop with me. Once we got to school, I opened my locker (after a few
attempts I might add.) and put everything but my binder inside. Surprisingly, Jasmine had the
locker one over but below mine. I had put my schedule in the glossy front of my binder. I checked
for my first class (reading and writing) and the room number and walked down the hall. Once I got
to the class I went to find my seat. It was easy because the teacher had put the seating chart on the
board through the document camera. I found my seat and sat down putting my large and empty
binder on the desk in front of me. I was completely clueless there was a morning time where
students could go hangout with friends and go to classrooms to finish missing assignments and eat
breakfast at school. So I sat there almost a full half hour doing nothing. Well, almost nothing. I had
a friend who was sitting next to me who also didn't know the mourning period. She was different
though, we were almost related once. After first and second period there was my math class. And

Red–Not So Terrifying After All
I used to be very reluctant to write essays in English because it was hard for me to express my
ideas in my second language, and it is easy to make mistakes. I was afraid of making mistakes, but
the more I was afraid the more mistakes I made, forming an endless loop. Mr. Wang, my high
English school teacher, broke the loop by showing that making errors is not terrifying and by
building my confidence through the process of correcting errors.
My first impression of Mr. Wang was not so good. It was the first school day of 11th grade. I
remember it was a sticky summer afternoon, and the air was heavy and sweltering. Given the
other courses I was taking, only Mr. Wang's class fit in my schedule. While walking towards the
classroom, I thought I was so unfortunate because Mr. Wang was known for his strict teaching and
his preference for giving low grades. After crossing a narrow corridor, I found my classroom, a
small room with no windows and no AC. After I found a seat, a man in a white shirt that had a
turned little bit yellow in front of chest came into the classroom. He stared at us through his thick,
fogged glasses for a while. After combing his greasy hair, he said, "Good afternoon everyone, my
name is Wang and I will be yourwriting teacher." Then he started teaching. In that small room, I felt
I was suffocating and his voice made me drowsy. I doubted his teaching ability. "Tony," I heard.
Suddenly he called my name.

Today is the first day of my sophomore year. This will be a great year! I think to myself as I get
on my bus. The bus ride was always my favorite part of the day. Even though it was bumpy and
loud. I mostly sit in silence, but this year i'm gonna put myself out there. I stand up so I could put
my feet under me at the third stop. Glancing around i see a lot of people who were in the same
grade as me. None of them knew me.
"Excuse me?" I turn toward the voice who spoke. " May I sit here?" It took me a minute to realize
he was talking to me. "Ya sure," I said as I was scooting over. He mumbled a thank you as he sat
down. I found myself staring. He was tall, but everyone was tall to me. He had tan skin and brown
eyes. His hair was a dark brown and extremely curly. It framed his face making his eyes a little more
vibrant.
I turned away and let my light brown hair fall into my eyes. This was my chance to make a friend,
why am i not saying anything? I opened my mouth like i was about to say something then closed
it again. To my surprise he was the first to say something. "Hello, I'm Kris." I just sat there looking
at him, embarrassed that I wasn't saying anything. " Not a talker huh? Ok" he said. Then he
started to turn away. Panicked I blurted, " i'm Paris!" He seemed shocked at the outburst. "Sorry," I
said as my ears grew pink. "I'm not used to people talking to me, guess I was just a little surprised."
He smiled. "Well I'm new so, I guess i could say the same. What's your first

Everyday begins the same as other days. This morning I was in a rush, trying to get myself to go
to school. It was my first day of second. I felt sad and excitement. The night before I had my band
new school uniform led all out and ready to be weared for the first time.I got out of my bed
quickly and went straight to the bathroom. The floor was cold and the birds outside were
charping. The early morning breeze blow against my skin, and I can feel the chills . I brushed my
teeth and got dressed really quickly and went to my mom. She had long dark brown hair and
when sunlight shines on her hair it turned into a reddest brown. I always loved my mom's
beautiful hair. " I wonder what will the future hold for me?" "BEP BEP!" cars were lining up one
after another at Ho Chi Minh International Airport. We had to get out of the car quickly and
unload our luggages in the car. Ours luggages weighted 50 pound each and we had them pieled on
top of each other on a three luggage cart. I didn't feel good at all after a five hours car ride to get
to the airport from the far away countryside. As I looked around me there were a lot of people
with luggages , people that were crying and hugging each other. "I get to go on an airplane."It was
so hot and humid staying there at the airport. The sunny weather was hotter than and oven. I can
smell the thick dusty air, it smelled like car gasoline. I can feel me sweat rolling down my forehead.

playing, I was like the black sheep between a lot of white sheep. After that I went to the food line
to go get my food, there was cinnamon bread and banana bread, so I chose cinnamon bread. I took
a seat in the second table this was the first time eating a cinnamon bread. Then the bell rang, I go to
a hallway, but my social studies class is not there. "Are you a new student in the school?" asked me
a eighth–grade student in spanish, I responded "Yes I am a new student, I'm trying to find my social
study class." Then she asked "Can I see your schedule" " Sure!" I said, "O you are a sixth–grade
student" she said, "Yes I am a sixth–grade student" I answered. Then she told me " So you try to find
your class, but you can't find here because the sixth–grade hallway is the last one down there" "ok
thank you I said. I walked down to the sixth–grade hallway and looked for the number of my class
that was in the class schedule. I found the class my teacher was standing where her table was. I
entered in the class and sit in the second row and the

My First Day In School
On a stormy Monday morning, a girl wakes up and barely drags herself out of bed and forces her
small feet across the hallway and into the bathroom. The girl steps on top of her step stool and
stares back at the mirror. With tired eyes she stares at the dark skin, dark eyes, and dark cornrows
covered with her favorite colorful hair beads, looking back at her. She smiles at her rainbow
colored hair and shakes her head with a giggle as she hears the beads shake around, going about her
morning routine as usual. She brushes her teeth with her Disney princess toothbrush, showers, gets
dressed and gets ready for another day.
She walks into her classroom, on her first day of elementary, with a bounce in her step as her hair
beads hit off each other, only to be stopped by the still and cold air that greets her. The class full of
light skin and straight hair stared back with confused, and slightly disgusted, eyes. Whispers flood
the room like the tides of a tsunami. As she looks around the room she sees everyone gawking at her
cornrows and the beads that hang off of them.
The girl, once lively and energetic, now eyes the ground as her open and bubbly frame coils into a
ball of uncertainty. She draws the last few shreds of her courage and walks to her assigned seat in
the front row of the class.
On a rainy Tuesday afternoon, a girl sits in a salon chair with the thick smell of chemicals invading
her nose and a burning sensation irritating her scalp. Tomorrow is her first day of 6th

Essay On My First Day In School

  • 1. School Experience : My First Day In My School I transferred into an all girls catholic school junior year, and it was and it was the most awful experiences to date. The only good part about attending the school was that it helped me recognize that I had severe anxiety, other then that there is nothing that I took out of going to school there. My first day, I will never forget, I was handed a schedule with rooms, a rule book, and told my uniform was already not appropriate. I wasn't able to start class until someone dropped off socks that were the appropriate length, I had to wait in the Deans office until my Aunt ran to the store, and back to the school to drop them off. By the time I was approved to go to classes I had already missed my first two classes. I was sent off to find my next class all alone, the school was huge, with a lot of twists and turns, I remember walking through the crowds of girls passing me by feeling as if the room was spinning, we only had 4 minutes in between classes to get to our lockers, and to the next class. Finally the bell rang and there was no one left in the halls, but me. I found my class only to be 20 minutes late. I walked in wanting to cry with my face bright red, there were about 25 girls just staring at me. The class was my first ever french class, the teacher turned to me and said "class this is so–and–so she decided to start in the middle of our semester, she will have to catch up quickly" then she said to me "Please recite the Lord's prayer in french"... I just starred at her Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Personal Narrative : My First Day At School BEEP, BEEP, BEEP! My digital clock struck 7:00, my light turned on, and I got ready. "Oh, it's my first day of second grade," I remembered while putting on my hat. The sun was shining through my bedroom window, lighting up the corners of the room. This is 2011 in September and I was ready for my first day of second grade. I walked out of my room, seeing my entire family arisen from their peaceful slumber. I sat down at the table, pouring in a bowl of Kix and scarfing them down like I haven't eaten in days. Once everyone was done getting ready for school, my mom driven me, Caiden, Aaron, and Moriah to school. I was back at Barker Elementary as a second grader. I couldn't wait to see my new classroom. I arrived to school at 8:15, class...show more content... I thought that third time's the charm. I saw people playing hand ball. I thought that I'd be good at this. Waited in line until it was my turn. I served the ball. I threw it. My opponent countered with his hit. I tried to hit it, but my swing missed. The ball bounced twice. I was out. I have no activity, with no friends, and no new life. After the end of recess and another session of S.C.H.O.O.L. (Six Cruel Hours Of Our Lives), It was time for lunch. I brung a corn dog, a Wild Cherry Capri–Sun, applesauce, and 2 Oreos. I sat at where all the other 2nd graders were (that was when I noticed that each grade has their own assigned seating). I was quiet when I got to the table to sit down. I was a little shy due to my weak ability of playing with physical contact. I heard other second graders talking to each other about things that they liked. I didn't bother, I stayed quiet while eating my food for the rest of the time during lunch. Once school ended, I waited in car line for my mom to pick me up. I was picked up from a white prius. I was heading home. "So, how was your first day of school, "my mom asked. I was still quiet like a toy with no squeaker. Once I got home I went to my room and got on my tablet, which was on my night stand charging. I unplugged it and played Angry Birds. When it was 5:00, it was time to got to my grandparents' church. Once we got to MEFC (Mission Ebenezer Family Church), I asked my grandmother a question, "What do I if I don't Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. My First Day In School Well, here it is,the day I've been dreading since Mrs. Mercer first brought it up. This day honestly came way too fast! When I first got my schedule and seen current health issues, I was like what in the world? So the first day of school came about and it was time for seventh period. When I realized it was Mrs. Mercer's class, I got extremely happy. I wasn't sure what to expect the first few days. As the days went on, all 13 of us started to get the hang of everything and bonded instantly. This is definitely a class that I'll always remember and I will truly miss! We've all had happy times, sad times, angry times, and a lot of fun times. I've honestly took in a lot from RY, especially snap and zap. Snap and Zap is where you snap out of bad thoughts and zap in good thoughts. I found if you do that then you wouldn't have as much anxiety build up. I feel like the RY class has helped a lot with my anxiety and anger. Mrs.Mercer and the 12 others in RY have been there for me since the first day. I want to thank all you guys. When class first started, I wasn't sure if I wanted to open up because at that time I only talked to like two people. I wasn't sure if I could trust everyone. Well about the second week I felt like I had a family A family that I can talk to, cry too, get advice from, never be judged by, a family that I can just simply enjoy. One that Id die to have at home. I knew if I couldn't trust anyone else, I had 13 other people that I knew for a fact that I could run to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Essay about First Day of Secondary School First Day of Secondary School – Original Writing I was so excited yet so terrified at the thought of my first day in secondary school. It felt much to me like my first day as an adult, the first day I ever felt grown up. As I packed my spanking new bag full of spanking new pens and pencils, I couldn't help but think would all the rumours about head flushing, bullying and heaps upon heaps of homework be true? I guess I was about to find out. Sporting my smart new navy blazer, white shirt and tie I slammed the door behind me and swiftly scurried to my friend Vicki's house. I knocked on the door and when it opened I could see that all my anticipation and excitement was being shared in Vicki's...show more content... Everyone instantaneously sat down like a dog obeying its owner, as Mr King gave us the instructions for the day. After about fifteen minutes of worthless gibberish, we went on to our first lessons. The corridors were like a swarming maze. Everyone was crammed in, grabbing on to people's bags so they wouldn't be pushed over. Finally after taking a few wrong turnings we found the right class and sat in our friendship groups. This lesson was maths, and we watched one of those mind–numbing educational videos. Our teacher, Mrs Branfield had a strong Somerset accent, and was a nice teacher. She wasn't too strict but she had the class under control. I was good at maths back then, so it soon became one of my favourite subjects. I was entered into the Maths Challenge that year, and came out with a Bronze certificate, which was good for my year. Our first lesson sped past and we now were on the mission to find our next class. I was on my own now as no one I knew was in my D.T class. I asked the teacher where my next classroom was, and finally found it after following some kids I recognised from my last lesson. When I found the class I went and sat with a girl I didn't know. We were told the projects we'd be making that year which was a drawing board and an alarm, both of which didn't turn out too good. This lesson too sped past and next was my first recess. Recess was the chance Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 6. My First Day In School Essay First week of School Ever since I came back to America, (I went to China when I was 2 years old and came back at the age of 4) I was introduced to a place where I have never been before, Naples, New York, the home of the world's greatest grape pie. My parents saw it as a opportunity to open up a restaurant and use it to support our family. My first experience in Naples was helping hold garbage bags while my father and mother were cleaning out the old post office, so we could renovate it. I was probably one of the most bored kids in town because of the fact that for many days that's all I did. As months went by the restaurant first opened and I was told to stay upstairs all day, which also got very boring watching American tv shows in which I couldn't even understand any of it. As time flew by, I was soon expected to go toschool (so my parents don't have to watch out for me every day). Before I was driven to school, I had no idea where I was going so I didn't think much of it. But right as I arrived, I had an idea of what I was about to do, go to school. For the first time in my life I was going into a school where I don't speak the language, nor do I know anyone. I had no idea what was going on as my father brought me to a building where I was led to a classroom where there were other children my age that all looked at me. I had no idea on why I had to come here and I desperately wanted to go back home, but unfortunately he had to work and left. I was left there at a Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. My First Day In School Essay New life in a new country For many people, coming to school the first day always has been an exciting experience and like a little adventure. That very first day of school will become a significant day in everyone life, a day to celebrate. I had my first day of school too; I couldn't remember all the details; but somehow, I can still feel the excitement and curiosity that I had at the time. It would be impossible for anyone to travel back in time to look back on their first day of school. But, I was lucky that I was able to have another opportunity to feel the same excitement and curiosity again. It was recently when my family moved to America. Growing up in a small town, everyone knows each other, so it was harder for me to say goodbye to everyone, especially my close friends. I was depressed on departing day because I knew I would miss my friends, family, foods, festivals, air, beach, and the sky full of stars. I knew it wouldn't be the same in America, but I had no choice at the time. "Is that tree dead?" my mother asked me after we leave the Dulles International Airport in D.C and on our way to our new home in America. I look around from the small taxi's window, and I was quite surprised to see something so marvelous. This was the first time in my life I saw a tree quite big without a single leaf. I thought it was dead too, so I asked the taxi driver, and he responded me with a laugh. Later, when we arrived at our new home, I found out that the tree is just sleeping Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. My First Day At School A bright but cold morning January in 2014, I woke up early, I jumped and smiled because it was my first day of school. First I went to take a shower; I thought, "What I would do in school today, who will be my teachers". Then I walked to the bus stop people looked at me like I'm not from this planet. I sat on a tree trunk waiting for the bus. The bus arrived after 15 minutes, I aboard the bus. The driver was a woman she was wearing a black shirt and brown pants. She told me " Do you have the paper that shows that you have permission to go to school in a school bus" I stared at her and said " No English". A very good girl who was blonde hair translated into Spanish what the woman was telling me, "thank you" I said to her. Finally, I gave...show more content... The teacher smiled at me and said in Spanish "Good morning sit her at the first row." I sat there, and she explains to me what they were doing, I get along with her very fast. The bell rang and I go to my third period. The teachers told me to sit with a group of students that speak Spanish, so they can help me, but they were telling me " you are very stupid." Then they stole my pencil, ripped the sheet out of my notebook, and they wrote in my notebook this " Go where you came from, we do not want you here!. Then I went to the bathroom to cry, and they chased me there and pushed and telling me a that I am a crybaby. After that class, I went to my math class to left my backpack and go to eat at the cafeteria, but I was not hungry, so I sat at a table in the last row. I began to think "If I continue to be sad I'm going to get sick" I start thinking how I will be smart, I start to organize. First I will put a lot of attention in the English class and practice what the teacher says and read books. I thought too "If they push me one more time I will tell to the teacher because I am a human, not an animal." The bell rang, and we went back to the classroom. Well, math was a little easy for me because all was about numbers. After two months I start to understand English, now life was easy for me. In conclusion, after nine months I learned to speak and write English. I start helping some students that they don't know English Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. My First Day In School This past year from when I was a "little" seventh grader to now has been quite interesting. The first day of school was on my birthday and I started off sick. Yeah, it wasn't very pleasant. I missed the first three days of school. When I was better, I was very scared and nervous for all the new teachers and classes. I knew most of the seventh and eighth grade teachers, but I had never been in their class before. Soon, I learned that they were all extremely nice and loved to teach. I had tried to memorize my schedule before, so I wouldn't go to the wrong class. My first class was art, and then math, science, lunch, P.E., language arts, quest, and finally social studies. I remember Mr. Munford told us that he hopes we would be a pretty good class. I think our class turned out pretty well. I was involved in many fun activities last year. One of them was "FCA" which stands for "fellowship of christian athletes." "FCA" was extremely fun because we met on Friday mornings before school and we got to eat doughnuts and things like that and then we would talk about different things that involved with Christians. Another activity I was involved in was C.L.O.W.N. troupe it was pretty funny seeing everybody's clown costumes. The "veteran" clowns had to help train the new clowns that joined that year. All the clowns had to create a presentation to present to little kids. Our presentation for the year was about sharing and having good manners. We never got to go to the other schools and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. My First Day Of School Essay The first day of school is nerve–wracking for most people, for me, the first day was especially terrifying. The first day of a college class is probably more crazy than all others. My mom and younger sister, Michaela, were busy taking pictures as I attempted to run out of the door. After being homeschooled for the last six years, I knew it would be a much different experience. I had been in my room alone doing school; I was content with where I was. The morning of the first day of class, I was so busy that I didn't have time to be nervous. However, as I ran out the door, my heart rate elevated to a pace of 138 bpm. I felt older, nervous, excited, and anxious as I left for Pellissippi. Although it had been six years since I had been in a classroom, I realized that all of my worry was for nothing once I walked into Ms. Brown's class. The summer after I completed the 6th grade, my parents decided to pull me out of my Baptist, private school and homeschool me. I, like most kids, was not thrilled with the decision, but being only 11 years old, I had no say in the matter. Despite my initial reservations, being homeschooled was a great experience for me, but I began to get bored. I missed seeing people every day. It was just me and my family. I was ready for a new experience, something big, and college was exactly what I was looking for. It was Sunday night, and there was a high probability that class would be cancelled. I prayed that that wouldn't happen, however, it did. The Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. My First Day In School From the moment I walked into this school in fourth grade, I knew that I would have an exciting adventure here, at Maple Place School. On the first day of school in fifth grade I was welcomed by one of the best teachers here. I was excited to have her as my science teacher because her smile made my day just a little bit better. I walked into the gym and didn't recognize anybody, that's because I was a new student. Everybody was welcoming their peers and friends back to school, and I was standing in the gym, watching. But, I was excited to start at yet another new school. I was used to changing schools, I had already done it twice. I know that it doesn't matter how many friends I will or will not have during my four years here, it's about my education and journey with the friends that I have. There were oh so many journeys that my friends and teachers took me on. One of the most important things that my teachers taught me was to never give up. My friends encouraged me to move on, and to walk away from fights, and much more. One of the most important event that I remember was when I did something that I regretted. I realized that I didn't want to be the rude person in the grade. I knew that it wasn't the road that I wanted to go down, I wanted to go on the right road, make the right choices, not the wrong ones. Which, I made sure of. Over the course of two years I had finished many quizzes, tests, and assignments. I had also gone through two friends. I found that some Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. My First Day In School Essay Fear began taking once again. I was heading into my first school in America. I had traveled a long separation from Bangladesh keeping in mind the end goal to join my mom, who had been here United States for a long time, trusting America would help my future. In my nation, all people dreams to come America to on the grounds that America is an affluent nation. However my dad concluded that I would be in an ideal situation going to class here, so I admitted in the Cambridge Public School in my new town Cambridge, MA. My first day at school was extremely terrified and uneasiness. After reading "Superman and Me" was an extraordinary ordeal. It made me understand that I am so fortunate to have such extraordinary instructive open doors that will enable me to succeed further down the road. I recall my first day of secondary school like it was 2 years prior. I had an awful night's rest. I woke up to the sound of my caution humming by my head. Pulling my dormant and tired body out of my bed, I put on my glasses as I advanced toward the restroom. I did my standard morning normal, realizing that this time was distinctive. This was paving the way to my first day. Completing, I came back to my room where I had laid out my uniform pleasant and slick (something that I wouldn't accomplish for the following 3 years). I had my fresh and clean white polo shirt, my stunning dim jeans, and in particular, my navy colour vest with the school logo on it. As I put on my uniform, I knew I was one Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Essay My First Day At School Emily's First Day of School 7:00 a.m. I wake up to the sound of my phone screaming in my ear. My mom is also yelling "Emily, turn that alarm off! Some of us are trying to sleep!" Today is the first day of school so my friends are all texting me. As I walk to the bathroom, I grab a skirt and a top that I hung up last night. My friends and I decided that we should all wear skirts on the first day of school. As I finish getting ready I grab my phone to look at the time. The time is 8:15, so I run downstairs and find that my family has already cleaned up breakfast, but as usual my mom has left me a waffle to grab as I run out the door. I arrive to school just in time to find my friends are beginning to walk inside. But just as I spot them I realize that I am not wearing the right outfit. While I was getting ready they decided to wear dresses. I search my purse for my phone and it is nowhere to be found. This is beginning to be a bad day. My friends all walk over to my car, but I don't want to face them. This same thing happened to another girl that is in the group last year. We had decided to wear jeans, but then switched to jean shorts because it was really hot out. We all didn't talk to her until her mom brought her jean shorts. I decide its best if I just drive home and grab a dress and my phone and be a little late to school. So as I pull out I yell to thaem that I'll be back soon. As I drive home I'm thinking about which dress to wear. As I pull into my driveway I've Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. My First Day In School A bright but cold morning, January 2014, I woke up early, jumped out of bed and smiled because it was my first day of school. First I went to take a shower; I thought, "What would I do in school today, who will be my teachers"? I walked to the bus stop, people looked at me like I'm alien with five heads and with a large nose. I sat down on a tree trunk waiting for the bus and the bus arrived after 15 minutes, I aboard the bus. The driver was a woman she was wearing a black shirt and brown pants. She told me " Do you have the paper that shows that you have permission to go to school in a school bus" I stared at her and said " No English". I walked down to the sixth–grade hallway and looked for the number of my class that was on my schedule. When I found my classroom, I stood in the hallway peering in, imagining everything I was going to learn. The late bell was rang, I walked in the classroom and the teacher greeted me with a warm, friendly smile. I sat down in the second row, the class started and the teacher starts teaching about the Civil War, I stared at her and spoke out loud to myself saying "what she is saying"? There were some kids laughing at me, and they're saying "she's very stupid." Time pass and the bell rang for the second period class. I walked to the ESOL class, the teacher smiled at me and said in Spanish "Good morning, please sit down in the first row". The teacher explained to me what assignments they were doing, she treated me like one of her daughter and I felt good in her class. The bell rang and I went to my science class and the teacher told me to sit with a group of students that speak Spanish,so they can help me. When the teacher left, they started to make fun me and saying " you are very stupid", I only stare at them. Then they stole my pencil, ripped the sheet out of my notebook, and they wrote in my notebook this "Go where you came from, we do not want you here! So I cried. • 15. My First Day At School Essay On my first day of middle school I ecstatically jumped out of my bed as my alarm blared in my ears. I put on my clothes I set out the day prior and ran downstairs to get my things for school. I remember being so excited I was completely ready for school half an hour before I needed to be. It all fell apart as I got to the bus. I suddenly became really nervous and was happy to have one of my best friends, Jasmine at the bus stop with me. Once we got to school, I opened my locker (after a few attempts I might add.) and put everything but my binder inside. Surprisingly, Jasmine had the locker one over but below mine. I had put my schedule in the glossy front of my binder. I checked for my first class (reading and writing) and the room number and walked down the hall. Once I got to the class I went to find my seat. It was easy because the teacher had put the seating chart on the board through the document camera. I found my seat and sat down putting my large and empty binder on the desk in front of me. I was completely clueless there was a morning time where students could go hangout with friends and go to classrooms to finish missing assignments and eat breakfast at school. So I sat there almost a full half hour doing nothing. Well, almost nothing. I had a friend who was sitting next to me who also didn't know the mourning period. She was different though, we were almost related once. After first and second period there was my math class. And math classes in the sixth Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. My First School Day Of 11th Grade Essay Red–Not So Terrifying After All I used to be very reluctant to write essays in English because it was hard for me to express my ideas in my second language, and it is easy to make mistakes. I was afraid of making mistakes, but the more I was afraid the more mistakes I made, forming an endless loop. Mr. Wang, my high English school teacher, broke the loop by showing that making errors is not terrifying and by building my confidence through the process of correcting errors. My first impression of Mr. Wang was not so good. It was the first school day of 11th grade. I remember it was a sticky summer afternoon, and the air was heavy and sweltering. Given the other courses I was taking, only Mr. Wang's class fit in my schedule. While walking towards the classroom, I thought I was so unfortunate because Mr. Wang was known for his strict teaching and his preference for giving low grades. After crossing a narrow corridor, I found my classroom, a small room with no windows and no AC. After I found a seat, a man in a white shirt that had a turned little bit yellow in front of chest came into the classroom. He stared at us through his thick, fogged glasses for a while. After combing his greasy hair, he said, "Good afternoon everyone, my name is Wang and I will be yourwriting teacher." Then he started teaching. In that small room, I felt I was suffocating and his voice made me drowsy. I doubted his teaching ability. "Tony," I heard. Suddenly he called my name. • 17. My First Day In School Today is the first day of my sophomore year. This will be a great year! I think to myself as I get on my bus. The bus ride was always my favorite part of the day. Even though it was bumpy and loud. I mostly sit in silence, but this year i'm gonna put myself out there. I stand up so I could put my feet under me at the third stop. Glancing around i see a lot of people who were in the same grade as me. None of them knew me. "Excuse me?" I turn toward the voice who spoke. " May I sit here?" It took me a minute to realize he was talking to me. "Ya sure," I said as I was scooting over. He mumbled a thank you as he sat down. I found myself staring. He was tall, but everyone was tall to me. He had tan skin and brown eyes. His hair was a dark brown and extremely curly. It framed his face making his eyes a little more vibrant. I turned away and let my light brown hair fall into my eyes. This was my chance to make a friend, why am i not saying anything? I opened my mouth like i was about to say something then closed it again. To my surprise he was the first to say something. "Hello, I'm Kris." I just sat there looking at him, embarrassed that I wasn't saying anything. " Not a talker huh? Ok" he said. Then he started to turn away. Panicked I blurted, " i'm Paris!" He seemed shocked at the outburst. "Sorry," I said as my ears grew pink. "I'm not used to people talking to me, guess I was just a little surprised." He smiled. "Well I'm new so, I guess i could say the same. What's your first Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. My First Day In School Everyday begins the same as other days. This morning I was in a rush, trying to get myself to go to school. It was my first day of second. I felt sad and excitement. The night before I had my band new school uniform led all out and ready to be weared for the first time.I got out of my bed quickly and went straight to the bathroom. The floor was cold and the birds outside were charping. The early morning breeze blow against my skin, and I can feel the chills . I brushed my teeth and got dressed really quickly and went to my mom. She had long dark brown hair and when sunlight shines on her hair it turned into a reddest brown. I always loved my mom's beautiful hair. " I wonder what will the future hold for me?" "BEP BEP!" cars were lining up one after another at Ho Chi Minh International Airport. We had to get out of the car quickly and unload our luggages in the car. Ours luggages weighted 50 pound each and we had them pieled on top of each other on a three luggage cart. I didn't feel good at all after a five hours car ride to get to the airport from the far away countryside. As I looked around me there were a lot of people with luggages , people that were crying and hugging each other. "I get to go on an airplane."It was so hot and humid staying there at the airport. The sunny weather was hotter than and oven. I can smell the thick dusty air, it smelled like car gasoline. I can feel me sweat rolling down my forehead. I was also wearing two layers of shirts because my mom Get more content on HelpWriting.net

First I went to take a shower; I thought, "What I would do in school today, who will be my teachers". Then I walked to the bus stop, people looked at me like I'm not from this planet. A very good girl who was blonde hair translated into Spanish what the woman was telling me, "thank you" I said to her. Finally, I gave the paper to the bus driver. I sat down in the first row my legs were shaking. After a long time, we land in the back of the school and all the students got off the bus, so I went after them caring my new blue backpack I smiled. I entered inside schools it was so big, the color of the wall was cream. Then we went straight to the cafeteria. I stood there watching other students do some students were talking and others were playing, I was like the black sheep between a lot of white sheep. After that I went to the food line to go get my food, there was cinnamon bread and banana bread, so I chose cinnamon bread. I took a seat in the second table this was the first time eating a cinnamon bread. Then the bell rang, I go to a hallway, but my social studies class is not there. "Are you a new student in the school?" asked me a eighth–grade student in spanish, I responded "Yes I am a new student, I'm trying to find my social study class." Then she asked "Can I see your schedule" " Sure!" I said, "O you are a sixth–grade student" she said, "Yes I am a sixth–grade student" I answered. Then she told me " So you try to find your class, but you can't find here because the sixth–grade hallway is the last one down there" "ok thank you I said. I walked down to the sixth–grade hallway and looked for the number of my class that was in the class schedule. I found the class my teacher was standing where her table was. • 20. My First Day In School On a stormy Monday morning, a girl wakes up and barely drags herself out of bed and forces her small feet across the hallway and into the bathroom. The girl steps on top of her step stool and stares back at the mirror. With tired eyes she stares at the dark skin, dark eyes, and dark cornrows covered with her favorite colorful hair beads, looking back at her. She smiles at her rainbow colored hair and shakes her head with a giggle as she hears the beads shake around, going about her morning routine as usual. She brushes her teeth with her Disney princess toothbrush, showers, gets dressed and gets ready for another day. She walks into her classroom, on her first day of elementary, with a bounce in her step as her hair beads hit off each other, only to be stopped by the still and cold air that greets her. The class full of light skin and straight hair stared back with confused, and slightly disgusted, eyes. Whispers flood the room like the tides of a tsunami. As she looks around the room she sees everyone gawking at her cornrows and the beads that hang off of them. The girl, once lively and energetic, now eyes the ground as her open and bubbly frame coils into a ball of uncertainty. She draws the last few shreds of her courage and walks to her assigned seat in the front row of the class. On a rainy Tuesday afternoon, a girl sits in a salon chair with the thick smell of chemicals invading her nose and a burning sensation irritating her scalp. Tomorrow is her first day of 6th Get more content on HelpWriting.net
