Step 2: Entice Customers to subscribe to your campaign
Now to get customers to subscribe to receive weekly promotions, coupons
or alerts they need to “Opt In”. The customers simply needs to send this
standard SMS with the chosen advertised key word as in this example it is
INFO to (example) 41513, thus giving their permission to receive
messages from you. A response or reward such as a coupon could be
offered and immediately dispatched upon receipt of the “Opt In” text
instantly received by the new subscriber/member
7. Step 3: Form your opt-in customer groups
The opt-in messages sent by your customers are collected in a group that you
create and name at your discretion, for instance – group SCORE. You can create
a new group or use one of the previously created groups with each keyword.
