Impaired
Driving
Everyone
goes
looking
for
a
good
time,
but
sometimes
they
become
impaired
to
do
anything.
At
3:00
A.M.
Kimberly
was
diving
home
on
the
right-‐hand
lane.
She
had
about
six
beers.
She
was
going
the
speed
limit.
She
didn’t
see
anyone,
but
suddenly
she
heard
the
windshield
shatter.
So
she
doubled
back
to
see
what
had
happened.
She
saw
a
bicycle
and
a
guy
lying
in
the
road
with
doughnuts
scattered
round
him.
She
tried
talking
to
him,
but
then
she
really
started
to
freak
out.
She
only
had
a
few
minor
cuts.
She
was
legally
drunk
with
a
BAC
(blood
alcohol
content))
of
.108.
Since
she
became
a
felon,
she
lost
her
college
scholarship.
She
also
had
her
driver’s
license
suspended
for
four
years.
Since
she
has
been
sober,
life
is
a
hundred
times
better
than
it
was
when
she
was
drinking.
“Because
when
you’re
drinking,
you’re
not
(really
experiencing)
life”
(Arenofsky
22).
The
police
need
to
be
pushed
to
watch
the
bar
more
and
should
patrol
more.
The
bar
should
watch
their
customs,
and
if
they
are
drunk
the
should
forbid
then
from
driving.
There
are
thousand
of
car
accidents
a
year.
The
best
chance
of
a
drunk
driving
accident
is
on
the
holidays
(Drunk
Driving
Facts).
The
most
alcohol
accidents
accrue
on
New
Year’s
Day,
where
69
percent
of
the
accidents
are
alcohol
related.
On
Super
Bowl
Sunday
64
percent
of
accidents
are
alcohol
related,
48
percent
on
Christmas,
and
40
percent
on
Thanksgiving,
(Blood
Alcohol
Levels).
A
lot
of
those
accidents
are
because

drunk
driving.
40
percent
of
fate
automobile
accidents
are
alcohol
related.
Approximately
30
percent
of
American
will
be
in
an
accident
involving
alcohol.
About
every
2
min
a
person
is
injured
in
an
alcohol
accident,
and
every
half
an
hour
a
person
is
killed.
Around
16,000
people
are
killed
a
year
from
alcohol
accidents.
About
five
times
more
likely
is
an
alcohol
accident
to
accrue
at
night
(Drunk
Driving
Facts).
Most
people
think
that
if
they
only
had
a
few
then
they
will
be
okay
to
get
behind
the
wheel.
The
fact
is,
however,
that
a
few
usually
turn
into
a
few
more
and
then
a
few
more.
(Drunken
Driving
Facts)
Studies
have
recently
proven
that
it
is
a
drunk
driving
fact
that
your
risk
of
accident
increases
with
every
drink
you
take
at
the
point
when
you
have
reached
a
6
pack,
your
chances
of
being
in
a
drunk
driving
accident
are
up
to
44
percent.
Every
person
is
at
a
risk
of
being
in
a
drunk
driving
accident.
All
people
are
affected
by
drunk
driving,
but
the
ages
of
21-‐34
are
the
most
alcohol-‐related
fatal
crashes
than
any

other
age
group
(DUI).
Another
blood
test
tells
that
this
age
group
also
has
the
highest
average
blood
alcohol.
This
age
group
is
most
likely
not
to
change
their
drinking
and
driving
habits
(DUI)
.
The
most
of
the
effects
of
drunk
driving
accidents
end
up
in
death
or
terrible
injuries.
Why
do
things
like
drunk
driving
happen?
Almost
most
of
the
time
accident
involving
drunk
drivers
are
just
accidents.
The
people
that
cause
that
are
just
looking
for
a
good
time,
but
that
good
time
can
impair
their
senses
and
their
thinking.
Because
they
are
impaired
they
do
not
think
about
the
consequence
of
driving
or
they
say
they
are
not
drunk
at
all.
Most
people
think
if
they
have
only
a
few
then
they
will
be
okay
to
get
behind
the
wheel.
People
have
tried
petitioning
the
accident
and
how
to
stop
it.
Drunk
driving
facts
stated,
“Today,
with
cell
phone
in
almost
every
driver’s
pocket,
reports
of
drunk
driver
have
gone
up.
All
a
person
needs
to
do
is
Dial
the
local
highway
patrol
or
police
department.
Then
get
the
license
plate
number
of
the
car
and
report
the
number
and
the
location
of
where
the
driver
was
spotted.”
The
project
that
I
am
going
to
do
is
a
website.
The
website
is
being
made
on
Webly.com.
Website
will
have
several
different
pages.
The
pages
will
have
stories,
pictures,
and
other
important
information.
The
background
of
the
webpage
is
black.
It
is
black
to
symbolize
the
night,
for
that
is
where
most
of
these
accidents
happen.
Also
it
looks
like
the
black
top
of
a
road.
The
site
will
be
easy
to
use.
The
site
will
web
address
at
the
end
of
all
of
the
picture
and
written
information,
so
that
the
reader
can
go
to
the
webpage.
The
website
will
have
all
of
the
information
that
fit
in
with
the
sites
and
all
of
the
important
information
I
find.

The
website
will
take
about
24
hours
of
time
all
added
together.
The
main
page
will
be
a
story.
Then
there
will
be
links
on
the
top
of
the
page
that
bring
you
to
other
parts
of
the
sites.
The
other
part
will
take
about
the
other
information
that
is
and
isn’t
in
this
essay.
The
web
page
will
be
real
easy
use
because
the
title
matches
exactly
what
is
on
the
page,
not
like
other
web
pages.
The
pages
will
be
worded
so
it
is
easy
to
read.
The
project
turned
out
ok.
It
was
not
the
best
in
the
world;
it
has
the
requirements
that
I
need
to
complete
this
project.
The
project
went
the
way
I
had
planned
there
were
some
spots
here
and
there
that
just
winged
it.
Like
I
did
to
plan
to
put
my
paper
(the
one
you
are
reading)
into
it.
Overall
the
project
was
not
easy
and
it
wasn’t
hard
it
was
in
the
middle.
No
one
helped
me
on
my
project
or
was
in
but
the
teacher.
I
learned
some
new
interesting
facts
on
drunk
driving
that
I
didn’t
knew
before
wrote
this
project.
The
peer
review
was
helpful.
The
peer
review
gave
me
some
new
ideas
for
my
website.
Some
of
them
I
did
not
even
think
of
and
other
were
one
that
though
wouldn’t
work.
They
told
me
what
didn’t
work
into
me
website
too.
The
peer
review
helped
me
make
the
whole
project
better,
and
the
word
or
other
thing
in
the
paper
more
clear.
If
I
had
to
do
this
project
over
again
I
would
add
videos
of
other
people
in
the
class
in
to
it
and
make
a
PowerPoint.
The
best
part
of
the
project
I
think
is
the
video
section,
because
I
make
one
of
them
by
my
self.
