2. Recently I had the opportunity to fly home to California to attend my youngest brother’s Graduation. As well as spend some much needed quality time with friends and family.

3. I can’t even begin to express how important this trip was. Life had taken a toll on me recently and I was drained. California was just the breathe of fresh air I needed.

4. Before I even landed I had multiple offers for pick ups at the airport. Throughout my trip I received countless text messages, emails, and phone calls asking if and when I’m able to meet up and hang out. Even with their busy schedules people would wake up a little earlier, stay a little longer, or sleep a little later just to squeeze in a some time with me. And regardless of the number of miles or the length of time that separated us, one minute into the conversation and I am instantly reminded of why I love the person in front of me.

5. There’s a reason why they say “There’s no place like home.” Because it’s true!!! There’s no heart ache that can’t be cured by retail therapy with your BFF. There’s no stress that can’t be relieved by a hug and a conversation with your mom. There’s no battle that can’t be fought knowing that your siblings have your back and will kick anyone’s ass who says otherwise. There’s no losing when you’re surrounded by love. And ladies I AM LOVED!!! and gentleman …
