My dream <3
1.
2. Each one of us has different dreams who wants to be
come true. Someone wants to be famous, to be a singer
or a great actress. Another one wishes to become a
painter, an architect, a doctor, stay home or do weird
and different stuff .
I like traveling. If i could, i would never stay home. I
like seeing new landmarks, new cultures, get
information about different places all the world, but
also with me being in there. If I would have the
possibility, I wouldn’t turn it down. This is my list of
the landmarks I want to visit :
4. The ruins of Machu Picchu, rediscovered in 1911 by Yale archaeologist Hiram Bingham,
are one of the most beautiful and enigmatic ancient sites in the world. While the Inca
people certainly used the Andean mountain top , erecting many hundreds of stone
structures from the early 1400's, legends and myths indicate that Machu Picchu
(meaning 'Old Peak' in the Quechua language) was revered as a sacred place from a far
earlier time. Whatever its origins, the Inca turned the site into a small but extraordinary
city. Invisible from below and completely self-contained, surrounded by agricultural
terraces sufficient to feed the population, and watered by natural springs, Machu Picchu
seems to have been utilized by the Inca as a secret ceremonial city. Two thousand feet
above the rumbling Urubamba river, the cloud shrouded ruins have palaces, baths,
temples, storage rooms and some 150 houses, all in a remarkable state of preservation.
These structures, carved from the gray granite of the mountain top are wonders of both
architectural and aesthetic genius. Many of the building blocks weigh 50 tons or more yet
are so precisely sculpted and fitted together with such exactitude that the mortarless
joints will not permit the insertion of even a thin knife blade. Little is known of the social
or religious use of the site during Inca times. The skeletal remains of ten females to one
male had led to the casual assumption that the site may have been a sanctuary for the
training of priestesses and /or brides for the Inca nobility. However, subsequent
osteological examination of the bones revealed an equal number of male bones, thereby
indicating that Machu Picchu was not exclusively a temple or dwelling place of women.
6. Heralded as the most beautiful waterfalls in the world, the
Iguazu Waterfalls are a true wonder of nature. They are
located at the border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.
While the Argentinean side allows visitors to walk right
around the water or explore theNational Park; the Brazilian
side is known for its panoramic views and splendor.
Today, the region is the border among three countries:
Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, and can be reached by
plane or through the Asunción-Paranaguá highway.
The Iguazu Falls constitute one of the biggest and most
beautiful falls of water in the world, considered by some as
the eighth wonder of the world. The volume of water at the
Iguazu Falls is nine times superior to that of theNiagara
Falls.
8. Taj Mahal is regarded as one of the eight wonders of
the world, and some Western historians have noted
that its architectural beauty has never been surpassed.
The Taj is the most beautiful monument built by the
Mughals, the Muslim rulers of India. Taj Mahal is built
entirely of white marble. Its stunning architectural
beauty is beyond adequate description, particularly at
dawn and sunset. The Taj seems to glow in the light of
the full moon. On a foggy morning, the visitors
experience the Taj as if suspended when viewed from
across the Jamuna river.

castle. Neuschwanstein is a castle of the paradox. It was built in the 19th
century in Bavaria, in a time When no longer hadd Castles strategical and
defensive purposes. While Neuschwanstein's look is that 'of a Medieval
castle, It was equiped inside with state of the art technology at that time. For
Example on Every floor of the castle Were there toilets with automatic flushing
system, as well as an air heating system for the Whole castle. Was water
supplied by a spring Nearby situated at only 200 meters Above the castle.
Neuschwanstein castle facing a very beautiful Inner Walled garden
surrounded by a courtyard. It faces an artificial cave Eve. Neuschwanstein's
interior is as beautiful as Its Outside. Though only 14 finished rooms Were
Before Ludiwg II's Sudden Death in 1886, These Were majestically decorated
rooms. The two story room Throne Was Designed in Byzantine style, with wall
Paintings depicting angels. Ironically, there is no Throne in the Throne
Room, nor Ludwig died Before it Was Completely finished.
This Fairytale look of the Neuschwanstein castle Walt Disney Inspired to
Create the Magic Kingdom.

pyramid allows the sunlight to come in on the underground floor.
The modern addition Originally Received mixed reviews, as it contrasts sharply with the
classical design of the surrounding buildings, But today it is generally not a Clever
Accepted Solution qual Given the museum faces a Spacious Entrance plant without the
need to touch the historical patrimony.
18. Mont-Saint-Michel is a commune of France, south-
western department of Manche and region of Lower
Normandy. It takes its name from the rocky island
dedicated to St. Michael where stands the abbey of
Mont Saint-Michel. The architecture of Mont Saint-
Michel and its bay make it the third most visited
tourist site in France (behind the Eiffel Tower and the

20. Carnival is the most popular holiday in Brazil, the carnival of Rio de Janeiro and the richest
known, attracting thousands of domestic and foreign tourists. Every year, the Carnival season, the
city of Rio de Janeiro for five days breathes an enviable air of joy. Cariocas forget problems and
obligations and surrender to the gigantic spectacle of dance and magic. The culmination of the
festival is the Parade at Marquês de Sapucaí where different Samba schools compete for the title of
Carnival Champion.Samba, vivid colors, splendid costumes and beautiful women are the main
ingredients of this great dispute.
The date of Mardi Gras varies from year to year depending on Easter. Generally Bash occurs between
the end of February and early March. The official start of Carnival is always on a Saturday and end at
noon the following Wednesday, called "Ash Wednesday". However many people are starting the
festivities on Friday. It is said that the very year in Brazil officially starts only after the Carnival.
During most of the nineties, the carnival was reduced to the samba school parades and dances in the
great private clubs. The famous and traditional "street carnival" in which people play spontaneously
without paying an admission fee, had been abandoned. In recent years, however, this form of
celebration is being recovered.
The Carnival has many possible sources that lead to thousands of years before Christ. The word
carnival may have its origin in the Latin expression "carrum novalis" used by the Romans to open
their celebrations. Or perhaps the word "carnelevale" which means "farewell to meat" in Milanese
dialect, a reference to the beginning of Christian Lent.
