1. Project : Rainbow
Client:Royal Bank Of Scotland
Description:Rainbow is Data Warehousing project involving
Informatica, HP Server Automation, Toad, HP QC and Jira. The bank
has a data warehouse which fetches transaction related, customer
related data from various upstream system or sources and then
these data gets transformed through ETL process using Informatica.
The transformed data is then moved to downstream applications for
generation of reports which the bank has to submit to financial
regulatory bodies.
As part of test execution, workflows have to be run. Then have to
validate data getting populated to check if transformation logic is
getting implemented. This involves complex sql join queries.

Client: CITI BANK
Description: GENESIS is a Data Warehouse Testing Project of One
of the renowned Banks Of US involving end to end testing using
Teradata, Oracle, Netezza, AbInito.The bank has a data warehouse

APAC, LATAM, EMEA,NAM for different products like Cards,
Mortgages, Personal Loans, Corporate Loans,Deposits etc for
different types of customers like Corporate Organisations or
Individual Customers and then these data gets transformed through
ETL process using DataStage/Ab Initio. The transformed data is
then moved to downstream applications for generation of reports
which the bank has to submit to financial regulatory bodies.

5. 3. Project: HR-BIS(Business Information System)
Client: Royal Bank Of Scotland(RBS)
Description: RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) group intends to
upgrade their HR systems to best of the breed solutions with the
objective of significantly enhancing the businesses.
The scope of the project is to upgrade the PeopleSoft 9.0 to version
9.1 and alsofrom aDB2 system to Oracle 11g .
As a result, the following would be required to be changed in the
process.
 Informatica CDC will be deployed replacing Data propagator.
 Stage 1 datastage ETL feeds populating the Staging database
from Source, will be replaced with Informatica Power center
ETL.
 Stage 2 datastage feeds populating the target HR BIS Data
warehouse will remain as is. But some minimal changes to
some ETL’s would be required due to impact of PeopleSoft
 9.1 schema changes on staging and HR DW.
 Modifications of existing batch jobs and creation of new jobs
are required for the above mentioned changes.
