SWOT of Google+

2.  Google+ is one of the world’s biggest social media
platform having active user base of around 1.15 billion
as on Feb 2014.
 It has an active user base of around 2.2 million in India.
 It’s a google product and is integrated with other
google products like youtube, blogger, gmail, maps,
chrome, picasa, etc.
 Google Hangout is the biggest strength of Google+ and
brands are leveraging this feature excellently.

3.  It is not very happening for brands as far as contests or
campaigns are concerned.
 It is still lacking in numbers from Facebook
 Not much popular among masses
 Google+ accounts are easily created with gmail
accounts but people are not actively using Google+
account

4.  Being product of Google it helps in search engine visibility
 Google+ unique application Hangout now has a “place tab” which can retrieve
your location.
 HD quality Hangout video which has an Auto Awesome feature which can
automatically boost light enable black and white, turn on the Blur or focus effect
feature.
 Can create circle of customers, clients, colleagues & other helpful peoples and can
connect to them whenever required.
 Excellent tool for B2B marketing.
 A potentially powerful PR tool.
 Can be a way of advertising targeting those people who are in group.

5.  Average time a user spent on google+ is just 7 minutes
a month.
 No engagement for young generation.
