1. Headache Treatments
Admin (Edit)
Since the stress can cause many numerous diseases as
mentioned in text about stress, one of them is migraine.
These are very painful headaches caused mostly by stress, or
some other physical dis-balance. To cure such painful
headaches you can try natural way or drugs (medicine).
Headache treatments
Caffeine is the cheapest, easiest, most available drug to treat
a migraine. It constricts blood vessels which can decrease
pain. If you feel a migraine coming on, try drinking a cup or two of strong black coffee or a
caffeinated soft drink, a simple treatment that works for many people.
Caffeine can be so effective that many over-the-counter migraine medications include it as an
ingredient, including Anadin Extra.
Caffeine also helps you absorb other medications, which is another reason why it is included in
some of these medications. And it is a brain stimulant so it can help you think better if you’re in
a migraine fog.
Massage can help if your migraines are accompanied by components of muscle spasms
because it will loosen them and relax you. While the data isn’t overwhelming, a study at a major
university found that twice-weekly massage for five weeks cut back on migraines by 50 per cent.
Numerous scientific studies have also shown that drinking a Green tea helps in curing
migraines.
It is notable to mention that natural way of dealing with migraines is not as slow as using
medicine, but it will help.
Drugs (medicines)
When I started writing an article about medicine, the thing that cannot be forgotten is that there
is no medicine that will help you 100% percent with this issue. What is most important for you is
to find a medicine that will quickly relieve you from pain or decrease it and return you to normal
functioning. There is no medicine today that is 100% healthy, and it will help you with the
migraine, but it can affect other organs, such as liver or kidneys.
When it comes to pain relievers I must mention Aspirin.
Aspirin or acetylsalicylic acid, is a derivative of salicylic acid that is a mild,
nonnarcotic analgesic useful in the relief of headache and muscle and joint aches.
The drug works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, body chemicals that
are necessary for blood clotting and which also sensitize nerve endings to pain.
There are others very efficient such as Ibuprofen, or Tylenol.
2. Ibuprofen is used for dental pain, fever, headaches or migraines, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid
arthritis, or painful monthly periods, like Tylenol with only exception that Tylenol also helps with
allergies.
You must never forget that using the drugs on your own is very risky, and should not do it
before consulting with your doctor.
