The American Nicaraguan School had a successful 2010-2011 school year. They saw many 2011 graduates accepted to top universities around the world. The school implemented new programs in math, literacy, and curriculum development. Challenges included raising achievement levels in math and science. Communications with parents improved through new newsletters and websites. Technology infrastructure was upgraded and more training was provided for teachers. New leadership positions were filled and facilities saw many renovations including a new high school construction. Audits were conducted and policies reviewed to ensure financial stability and business operations were running effectively. The school remains committed to providing excellent learning environments to prepare students for an ever changing world.
