We asked some questions:
• What type of charity event?
• Where will it be?
• When shall we have it?
• Will there be entertainment?
• What kind of dress will be required?
• Who will it be adddressed to?
Raising money to support C.A.V.
a charity organization which helps mothers in need
Charity dinner
A flea market
Entertainment
We divided into 6 groups each working in the
following areas:
Reception
Location
Catering
Flea Market
Entertainment
Photo-video
RECEPTION
CATERING AND LOCATION
FLEA MARKET
ENTERTAINMENT
We made a list of all expenses required
and fixed a budget. It included invitations,
catering and entertainment.
Students’ friends
Students’ families
Teachers
We drew up a marketing plan for the event. Methods
of “getting the words out” included :
 Using social networks
 Mailed invitations
 Phone banks
 Word of mouth
 Posters
As a result of the event, we got
about € 600,00
STRENGHTS
• About €600 collected out of €60
spent;
• Homemade food was higly
appreciated;
• The organization was very good.
OPPORTUNITIES
• Event promoted through social
networks;
• An occasion for our students to
show their talents;
• Advertising our school.
WEAKNESSES
• We had a short time to prepare
the event;
• There weren’t many people;
• There were few objects in the
flea market and few people
bought them.
THREATS
• Other events on the same day;
• The importance of the event
may have been underestimated;
• Non-invited guests might have
entered.

  • 3. We asked some questions: • What type of charity event? • Where will it be? • When shall we have it? • Will there be entertainment? • What kind of dress will be required? • Who will it be adddressed to?
  • 4. Raising money to support C.A.V. a charity organization which helps mothers in need

  • 13. We made a list of all expenses required and fixed a budget. It included invitations, catering and entertainment.
  • 15. We drew up a marketing plan for the event. Methods of “getting the words out” included :  Using social networks  Mailed invitations  Phone banks  Word of mouth  Posters
  • 16. As a result of the event, we got about € 600,00
  • 17. STRENGHTS • About €600 collected out of €60 spent; • Homemade food was higly appreciated; • The organization was very good. OPPORTUNITIES • Event promoted through social networks; • An occasion for our students to show their talents; • Advertising our school. WEAKNESSES • We had a short time to prepare the event; • There weren’t many people; • There were few objects in the flea market and few people bought them. THREATS • Other events on the same day; • The importance of the event may have been underestimated; • Non-invited guests might have entered.
