THE PROBLEM KEY EMPLOYMENT INDICATORS 
 Combined NCR & Region 4A , unemployment rate is 20.1% 
 1M or 50% is for Youth sector (15-24 years) 
 Unemployment Reasons 
• Tired/believe no work available 
• Awaiting results of previous application 
• Temporary illness / disability 
• Waiting for rehire or job recall 
• Bad weather 
 Mostly high school graduate or did not finished college 
 Lack proper training or no training at all
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS / TRAINING OBJECTIVES 
 To provide job options to youth who did not finish college. 
 To provide training to youth who wants to explore career in “Merchandising”. 
 To facilitate alliance with Government, NGO, Merchandising Agencies and Corporations for training funds and employment purposes
“MERCHANDISER” 
“Merchandiser” refers to those personnel inside the supermarkets, groceries, department stores, and drugstores. 
They are in-charge of making sure there are enough stocks, good displays, correct pricing, monitors competition and provide needed reports to their employers.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES 
One of the Top Merchandising Agencies has 7,000 employees. 
They hire 200 – 300 new staff per month. 
Their employment coverage is nationwide but majority is in GMA / Luzon. 
 They prioritize in hiring staff who are properly trained as merchandisers. 
 Employment is contract based (minimum 6 months).

Distributors will prioritize 
hiring of applicants who 
completed Training from 
Tribeca.
