Thank you for volunteering at the Ashburn Library for the Summer Reading Program! It’s a very busy place in the summer. We need your help. I’m going to present an overview of the program and process. Don’t feel you have to know everything today, because you’ll really learn things by actually doing them. Feel free to ask questions. GIVE INFO. ON THE TABLE, LAPTOPS, STAFF WORKROOM and basically their “workplace”

Mrs. Jackson and I are coordinators. Ask us first if we’re here, or you can e-mail us. We’ll also post special program volunteer opportunities here.
You MUST sign into your timesheet, or your hours will NOT be counted. First day you’ll get a t-shirt—you keep that. Always wear it when you’re representing the Teen Volunteers. If you forget shirt, put on badge. Check white board in Staff Work Room for new information. The SRP Teen Volunteer Notebook is a resource for each other.
