• 78% Vietnamese don’t smoke, only 23% smoke
• Among 432 smokers (23%), 46% smoked their first
cigarette at 16-18 years old
• Overall , smokers smoke 2-5 cigarette/day
• Relieve stress , relax and increase concentration are the
most common reasons to smoke
• The mainly reason to stop smoking is to keep good
