they implemented the systems (governance, change management,
impact on training materials), and the benefits derived from this

                                                THE FUTURE OF CORPORATE LEARNING
                                                Julia Wilkowski, Instructional Designer, Google
                                                Phil Wagner, Instructional Designer, Google

Massive open online courses (MOOCs) are rapidly gaining popularity
both in academia and in corporate environments. Google has
experimented with MOOCs by designing and delivering several
MOOCs internally and externally. You will leave the session with
ideas for best practices (generated through community discussion)
when conducting online open courses for the public and corporate
audiences. The speakers will address the instructional design,
evaluation, community, resource, and technology considerations
for implementing a MOOC. We will set up a simulated MOOC where
participants will learn, discuss, and apply knowledge while using
                                                online technology.
