This Week’s Assignments
Reading – We will be reading books about the Pilgrims and the first
Thanksgiving. We will compare and contrast our lives with the lives of the
Pilgrims and Indians.
Writing – Students will write an acrostic poem about Thanksgiving.
Spelling – Students will have no spelling this week due to such a short week.
Enjoy!!
Math – Planning a Thanksgiving meal is on the agenda this week in math.
Students will be given a $100 budget to plan their families Thanksgiving dinner.
They will be given ads to look through, and will have to keep track of the money
they spend as they are shopping for needed items for their Thanksgiving meal.
Science – We will be wrapping up our Electricity Unit. Students will review for
their test on Monday and they will have their test on Tuesday.
Reminders to Parents
1. Remember to check the blog for new pictures and updates.
2. Check your child’s assignment book nightly and ask them about their day at
school.
