3. The research had done in Labuhan Haji Clinic, East Lombok,
Nusa Tenggara Barat for a patient of diabetic foot ulcer for a
month.
The patient was given standard wound care with attend
process of wound care such as cleansing, debridement, and
dressing. After cleansing and debridement, the honey was
spreaded on the wound, and then given dressing with gauze.
This research used Bates-Jensen wound assessment tool to
measure progress of wound with 13 points assessment.
4. The result of this research showed the wound scores
were decrease after the patient was given honey for a
month, from 26 to 16 points of wound status
continuum.
7. The effect of honey was given to diabetic foot ulcer’s
patient that was effective, with exudates absorption and
stimulate granulation tissue’s figuration and
ephitelitation.
