Agenda and Objectives
2. Today’s Objectives...
We will complete a real world math problem
to show what we know about fractions.
We will get into small groups to discuss the
HW from yesterday (Monday) - adding and
subtracting fractions.
We will work through difficult problems from
the HW together to gain a better
understanding of them.
We will take notes on how to add and
subtract fractions.
We will practice word problems that require
the addition and subtraction of fractions.
3. Real World Math Problem
Crystal is 65 1/2 inches tall. Her mother
is 3 3/4 inches taller. How tall is
Crystal’s mother?

1. Make sure the denominators are the
same
