main cover line: The main cover line is written in a trendy font in huge letters to
attract the audience and to differentiate between the other coverline fonts which are
also black. The phrase ‘you're beautiful’ makes sense to the audience since it is
associated with the model and what she is trying to advertise.

but just enough to catch the consumer's attention.

letters to give an idea of what the puff wants the consumer to know. The puff is in a
round shape and the colour of the puff is a transparent light orange colour,
complimenting the rest of the colour scheme.

cover. The colours used are bright making the cover seem exclusive and
fashionable. The colour scheme makes the main image and the masthead stand
out which are the two most important features of a magazine cover. The colours
make the magazine look trendy and simple at the same time.

contorted with female youth. It also compliments the background and the main
image. It is written in simple bold letters and is hidden behind the image because it
is a well known magazine.

to make the different cover lines stand out. If too many colours were added, then it
would make the cover lines look too confusing and drive the attention away from
the more important features.

can also be associated with feline eyes indicating that she looks clever. Her dark
complexion and the highlight on her face makes her seem very reserved but open
minded since a dark complexion can be associated with slavery in the past and the
