2. The Early Years in Hockey (1800’s) This picture shows what a hockey stick looks like in the 1800’s. When hockey first started there were only a few teams but in the early 1900’s more teams decided to join the league. (Tor., Mon., Bos., Chi., NY., Det.)

7. Hockey Sticks in the 1990’s This is a picture of a sher-wood hockey stick. Became popular around this time. In the 90’s a new invention of a hockey stick, the composite stick. Not that common then became more popular in the 00’s.
8. Hockey Sticks Today This is a composite stick and today everyone in the National Hockey League (NHL). When this type of stick was invented I posed more opportunity for scoring goals and was more accurate when shooting.
9. Future hockey stick In the future I think that they will come out with a stick that has holes in it so the player has a lighter stick and they can shoot faster.
