2. How Effective is the
 Combination of Your Media
Product and Ancillary Tasks?
Creating A Brand Image.
• Typography
Throughout all of my products i have created a brand image by using the same
   typography for the name of my film, the quotes and phrases that appear in the
   trailer and on the film poster and magazine. By using the same font on every
   product it makes it become recognisable, therefore the audience relates it back
   to the film. This is conventional feature for most films.




• Colour Scheme
In both my poster and the magazine front cover I have used a simple colour scheme. I
    chose the colour white as I did not want the background to distract the audience’s
    attention away from the main image.
• The Images
The images also makes the promotion of this film package effective, as
  due to the fact that i only have one main character she therefore
  appears on everything. This results in audience recognising who she
  is and what film she is in when marketing the film.
• Mise En Scene
I have also kept the mise en scene the same throughout, for instance
    Darcey appears in a black leotard and pink ballet tights in all of the
    products. This costume signifies to the audience what genre of film it
    is therefore the audience can establish whether or not they will like
    the film.
Using Different Platforms To
          Market My Film
•   After producing my trailer and ancillary products I decided to make
    a twitter account for my film, as this is this is a very current and
    popular way of marketing films and connecting with the audience.
•   Micro blogging sites enables the audience to build a relationship
    with the film , as it gives them an insight into behind the scenes and
    important news.
•   I have also included Facebook and Twitter on my magazine, as this
    markets the magazine. Brands now use viral marketing in order to
    attract their audiences.
• Overall, I feel that all of the film package
  works well together, as I have used
  similarities in all of the products
  therefore creating a brand and
  reinforcing the genre. For instance this
  can be identified in the typography, the
  images that I have used and the mise
  en scene. This therefore links all of the
  marketing materials together.
