This document outlines the steps of problem-based learning (PBL): 1) Topic introduction where participants brainstorm areas of interest and a problem is introduced. 2) Developing a problem statement in their own words. 3) Hypothesizing possible solutions and actions to be taken. 4) Researching additional information like data requests and learning issues to support solutions. 5) Writing a solution with supporting documentation and submitting it for review. 6) Celebrating the work and reviewing performance to improve.
