3. Masthead These are three of the 4 mastheads, as you can see they are all set out in the same location but either on the right hand side or the left depending on where the picture is. On two of the mastheads there is a big V, this is because of the name of the magazine ‘Vibe’ this is good as they are running the title of the magazine through the magazine. This could be a logo that the magazine is trying to get across to the reader so the reader will be able to recognise the magazine just by the letter ‘V’ Also you can see that the contents is the same on every magazine this is showing that they have a unique technique that occurs on every magazine this will stick in the customers head so they will be able to recognise the magazine. On two of the magazine the picture is in front of the masthead this shows that that image is more important than the masthead.
