1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or use forms and conventions of real media products?
Positioning statement is above the masthead which is conventional. The strip across the bottom contains  a list of artists who will feature inside. Masthead has a unique font which would be it’s trademark. It also fills the width of the cover. The price and issue date is just below the masthead and is 11pt size. One main image which fills the whole cover, and is also the main feature article. It also gives direct address. The main coverline is the largest text on the cover excluding the masthead. Anchors the main image as it’s the name of the artist.  Most of the other coverlines are only several words long with sublines explaining them. They also frame the image. Subline is in smaller text and offers more information about the article and it’s used to intrigue the reader.  The puff offers something extra to the magazine Contains a barcode to make it look professional
Set out into 2 main categories; regulars and features Contains subscription information  The word contents is written at the top of the page Laid out in a conventional 3 columns over 1 page Image of the front cover is with the subscribe section as it is a convention of music magazines Simples colour scheme of white, blue and red to match the front cover The sublines give more detail about what the article is about and is in smaller font and regular Largest type size is 11pt First line contains; page number and several words which is the title of the article. Is bold and in capitals Interesting and varied photographs used Images separate the two columns Contains the page number, magazine title and issue date Page numbers on the pictures which anchor to the written contents
Headline is fairly short and the colour follows the basic colour scheme. Plus it draws in the reader as it doesn't say what the article is actually about Drop capital at  the start of the article is conventional and the first word is in capitals to draw in the reader The first couple of paragraphs are in bold to make it look more visually appealing to draw in the reader  I put a quote here to break up the text and to engage the readers interest, plus it is a typical convention One main image on this page which gives direct address  One side of the article is the image The text is 11pt size Here I have given credit for the words and photographs I put the questions in bold and in a different colour to try and entice the reader Contains the page number, magazine title and issue date Laid out into a conventional 3 columns
The name of who is speaking is in bold to break up the text plus it is a convention  The questions are in bold and blue to break up the text slightly and to engage the readers attention One different main image on this page The final paragraph is also in bold to follow the layout of the double page spread The additional page for my double page spread also follows the same codes and conventions as the other two pages. Contains the page number, magazine title and issue date
