ORGANIZATION
The Urban League for Bergen County has played an integral role in the
community for nearly 95 years. By empowering its economically
disadvantaged residents, ULBC has elevated the standard of living for the
underserved population.
The ULBC Young Professionals seek to maintain this rich legacy by
supporting the ULBC in their mission through purposeful programming and
creative initiatives. ULBCYP seeks to be an innovator in civic engagement,
science & technology, and financial literacy.

The Urban League for Bergen County Young Professionals (“ULBCYP”) is an
Urban League volunteer auxiliary that targets young professionals ages 21-40
to empower their communities and change lives through the Urban League
movement of volunteerism, philanthropy and membership development.
Our members are college students, college grads, Masters, PhDs, business
owners, musicians, educators, entertainers, artists, politicians, philanthropist,
and more!

Step1: ATTEND
NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION
New Member Orientation (NMOs), is an opportunity for interested members to
learn more about the ULBCYP organization. All new members must attend NMO
before joining and/or attending their first members only event.

GENERAL BODY MEETINGS
General Body Meetings (GBMs), are a monthly meeting dedicated to financial
members of the organization. Members gather to discuss developments,
changes, and vote on important matters of the chapter.
