9. 9
Inspired in the prestigious Stanford University’s Biodesign Fellowship, d·HEALTH
Barcelona is a 9-month Program which provides disruptive education, training
and mentorship to 12 multidisciplinary Fellows (with backgrounds in Health, Bio,
Tech, Business, Engineering and Design) into healthcare entrepreneurs.
After a clinical immersion in a top hospital of Barcelona, fellows select the most
valuable unmet healthcare needs and transform them into innovative solutions,
through the biodesign methodology. They identify, invent and implement a viable
business proposition to be place in the market.
Fellows receive training in subjects such as design thinking or creative
leadership through classes taught by over 50 international experts. They also
benefit from the vibrant BioRegion ecosystem and are able to attend the most
interesting events to improve their learning process and network with other
entrepreneurs and KOL.
“Are you working on something that can change the world? Yes or no? For 99% of the people on the planet,
the answer is no, and the fact of the matter is, we should be” Larry Page - co-founder of Google
