Agriculture:
 Mechanization (women Friendly)
 ICTs
 Microfinance & Microcredits
 Skill transfer mechanisms

 Value adding trainings( selling processed
products like ginger candy )
 Agro-based industries (dairy farm, Oil
producing companies)
 Management of Market(internal and
International)

 Farmers( Females and Males)
 Agricultural graduates as we work in farm tomorrow
through exposure

8. Major Issue that should be discussed today
is
Migration
 Rural to urban and Emigration
 Half million of the Nepali have migrated in foreign
labor market ( Department of Foreign Employment)
 A serious problem in developing countries.
 Need of Urgent Advocacy

9. About Gender
 Women comprise 43% of the average
of the Ag labour force in developing
countries.
 If they have same acess to productive
resources they could increase Yield of
Farm by 20-30%.(FAO)

10. Effective tools
 Top down and bottom up approach
 Policy Dialogues among Scientists, policy makers and
with explicit participation of the Youth.
