2.  Web designers can specialize in many areas of work,
but they often plan, create and/or code web pages to
make websites for customers and businesses. They
are usually responsible for
the general design of a
website, maintaining and
changing website content,
and configuring the layout,
colors and general “feel”
of a website.

3.  Web designers should:
 (recommended) have an associate’s or bachelor’s
degree
 have 1 to 5 years of experience with web design
 have a strong understanding of computer
programming and languages
 know how to use software such as Adobe Creative
Suite
Training and Education

4.  As well as being creative, web designers should:
 have basic computer programming knowledge
 have experience with CSS and HTML
 know how to use Adobe Creative Suite
 be able to use Microsoft Office
 have excellent communication

 be able to manage their time

5.  Web designers generally work for large/small
businesses who may want web designers to help
increase their web presence and create websites to
sell their products on. Some web designers work for
themselves, and offer their services to clients directly.
Where are web designers hired?

6.  The amount of money web designers make is largely
based on how much education they have, who is
employing them, and what kind of jobs they are
doing.
 Beginner level designers may make
$30 000 to $50 000 a year
 More advanced designers may make
$50 000 to $100 000 a year

 Your clients may not like your final design, and ask
you to change it
 If you work from home, you may feel
